Pau Thread: Surgery a success; now rehab & rest for 12 weeks

Hopefully playing against the Back to the Future bully will motivate Pau to play up to his ability tonight. He had the best game of the season against him last year.

Very good odds of that happening. Blake and DJ could do a facial on him bad. Remember the last game where he missed a dunk and was fouled and tried to dunk it again after the play and missed again? Lol.

I just hope Griffin keeps trying to post him up. It's always funny to watch that clown try to post up a decent post defender.

Went to the game and saw that. Everyone laughed (including me) but i felt bad after that

I have faith in Pau for tonight. I think he'll have a big game. Hes played really well vs these Clippers this year and last couple of years.

My expectations on Pau are lower, but hopes are still high. I personally think he still has better game than what he is showing in him. I'm just not sure we have figured out how to get game out of players because he's not the only one playing below expectations.

Even struggling players have breakout games so let's hope one of those for Pau is tonight.

Check every defensive play when a SF or bigger player drives the lane. Gasol will put one hand down to protect his mansticles, and only put one arm up to contest the shot and will always jump backwards so he doesn't take the contact. He has done this since 2 years ago and that is why our defense sucks. Our guards are Kobe and Nash and they are old and everybody blows by them, but they are untradeable. So it is what it is with our guards. But we can't have our 7 footer playing like a soft marshmellow. And its absurd and ridiculous that we are tying to make him into a 3 point shooter. Trade him....

With Memphis putting Rudy Gay on the trading block to avoid a future luxury tax hit, pull a 4 team blockbuster.

That spreads the floor for Dwight and we have two athletic quick big guys that will go up and take the contact against all the penetration. Or take out Atlanta out of the equation, and get R Gay.

If we can end up with Rudy or Smoove for Pau, we'll be a much better team. Rudy & Kobe on the wings would be amazing to watch.. Same with Dwight & Smoove on the block.

That 5 point swing at the end of the 2nd half where he got smoked by Griffin twice killed our mo mo at the end of the half.

PAU was embarassingly pathetic. why is he playing and worse starting. where the heck is jamison? plays 3 mins and then Pau gets all those minutes doing absolutely nothing!
