It's just so funny how we've gone full circle. "Pau is not a center" and now we want him to play center (as a backup).

Doesn't matter.
He can play Center but not on this team, unless Howard can shoot from midrange which is impossible.
Or Pau and Dwight both played just 24 minutes, and that's a joke.

If we can't get fair trade value out of him, then put him at backup center with the 2nd unit. If Lamar can do it, so can Pau.

simple quick fix is - Bargani and Calderon for Pau, Ebanks, and Blake

Bargs would hit the shots that Pau misses. He has a better ts% this year and is better from mid and 3 to open it up for Dwight.

Calderon could start from day one for Nash, run the system, provide the shooting, and then would be willing of move to the bench as he has always been part of a pg tandem with Ford/Lowry.

Jose could get the bench looks when Nash returns. Bargani also unlike Pau isn't a 5 so you can give Jamison backup PF duty full time and Hill can be the backup 5 full time and next to Bargani to maximize his rebounding when Dwight sits. Then the rest of the bench could be Meeks and Morris playing small against second units as both guys are around 6 4 / 6 5 which is what Raja Bell was in Phoenix when he used to play 3 with Barbosa at 2. In the meantime Duhon could play with them to Nash gets fully healthy, and Sacre can round out the bench.

Ebanks being added frees up a roster spot for mid March when guys get cut, a d league call up like CDR, if Tracy wants to return from China, if we see a need for Kenyon, or if Pietrius decides to play for pennies finally

That is the move we need to make to make the offense work the way Dantonis O is supposed to be ran without a drop off, give Dwight spacing he is used to from the 1 in and 4 out, and truly save the nos of this efficient Kobe we have had this year for the real season aka playoffs

More like Jamison. He would stretch the floor how Dwight is used too and get mobile rebounds. Plus he's still a guy who scored almost 20k at the position,making him a better offensive threat and weapon than Pau for his career so far because he's thirsty on O where Pau would be overly passive.

Plus Pau still needs someone to keep the bullies from taking his cookie, so Hill and him together off the bench as backups.

Still funny that MWP is the true member of the big 3 this year and so easily above Pau

pau off the bench with hill could be a good thing and starting jamison with dwight has shown to work.

meeks duhon and maybe ebanks would benefit from pau's passing ability. he would have to be super aggressive though and look to score every time not pass everytime. throw it out if theyre wide open but look to score. jamison and dwight is a great fit with the spacing and rebounding jamison somehow brings consistently. you cant play hill with dwight...offensively it doesnt work.

i doubt they'll start jamison and move pau to the bench but it could be a great thing. hed have to be super aggressive but if he was he would own any backup center especially with hill grabbing all the misses

You know that sometimes the best way to play D is make the other team take the ball out, by making your shots on offense. Shots like the one Pau is clanging from 15 feet with no one on him. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] Dwight has a better chance at hitting free rows than Pau does a mid range shot this year and that ain even an exaggeration when you look at his percentages.
