^Ebanks and Morris are ineligable too due to the special rule giving players on certain 1 year deals a no-trade clause.

I have a feeling that Pau isn't going to get traded until MDA goes gung-ho with every effort to get Pau going down low, as he has promised. If it works, Pau stays. If not, he goes after a few games. The problem is that we don't have the luxury of giving it time to work. It has to work immediately because we need wins.

No his contract is over after this season. He has a ~6 million dollar qualifying offer this offseason. We aren't going to dish money to D12 and Pek. On top of that some team is going to pay Pek, a whole lot more than we would give him.

I think we could get more with moving Pek in a 3 team, than keeping him to play 10-12 minutes a night behind D12.

The only worry I have with that trade is Pek. Some team is going to give that man a fat contract next year and we definitely aren't doing that, so he would be a half season rental.

The ideal trade for Pek would give us an upgrade at backup PG & a better backup C than Sacre.

I think Gasol is definitely a gonner by the trade deadline. It makes no sense to pay him 19min with the way Clark is playing...who knows maybe Mitch will magic wand him for rudy gay

Gotcha. The 3rd team would have to provide us with a backup center and maybe a nice backup PG for Pek, as that other poster just said.

trade this guy immediately. he's more of a distraction than anything else at this point...thinking back to some of the rumored deals last season we really should've got rid of him while his value was still high

I was one of the biggest Pau supporters here, but... (it pains me to say it) we kinda look better, more organized without Pau. Everything flows better. We have to find a way to turn him into a wing player, or perhaps a less impressive wing and a bench shooter. I don't know. Two younger guys who can play hard and add depth would help us tremendously. Yet, I think Pau will be traded in the offseason, so we're stuck with him right now.

Udrih and Dalembert are both expiring, Mbah a Moute is under contract for 3 more years at just about 4.5 million.

I brought this one up because it seems the Lakers use recent games as a way to evaluate potential trade assets. I remember they traded for Shannon/Morrison around the same time we played Charlotte. We signed Blake after he dropped a triple double on us in the last game.

Maybe I'm just imagining it...
