As expected Pau has started to slow down a bit in Jan, as the olympics catches up to him.

He's had off and on nights now dating back to his last 7 games.

And compared to December, his points, FG%, FT%, blocks, steals, and assists are all down. The one stat that has gone considerably up is his fouls.

He could probably use some extra rest, so that he can overcome the fatigue... come playoff time he should be back to 100%.

It's nice that Bynum's game has picked up to give Pau a little more rest.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.

Pau's my favorite Laker, together with Drew (slowly getting out of my doghouse, now)...he is just a blessing and his acquisition was almost on par with Shaq IMO and in fact could be better depending on what happens these next few seasons...

Til this day, I still can't believe Pau Gasol is playing for the Lakers. We got him for nothing too!

the cavs game was great..

Kobe takes care of the defense

Pau Gasol takes care of the offense...11-13, 22pts, 12 reb.............. :jam2: :jam2: :jam2:

that's how pau should always play in big games...he was also great in San Antonio

I have to bump this.

Here is our "second fiddle" against the Raptors:

31/15/4, 2 blocks

And against the Knicks:

31/13/5, 2 blocks

Consistency? Pure awesomeness? The Spanish Inquisitor?

:shaq:

That smiley is : shaq : , but I think Pau is a pretty good himself.

24/14/3 and some key blocks to win the game. See the rebounding in the last three games without Bynum?

Averaging 14 rpg. What a beast, this guy.

Great night from Pau. It might not show on the stats, but he did a great job of banging around underneath. Two clutch blocks on the Celtics now. Two on Ray Allen I believe.

Pau was great tonight. He didn't let himself get pushed around by the Boston Goons. Played well in control, within the offense... and of course, he came up with that block on Allen!

I can't complain about his free throws considering he was one of few that showed up tonight, everyone missed free throws. I get really tired of seeing him called soft all game long in gameday especially. The guy is not big and strong, he's just not, he's skilled and a great player and that hate is not needed if you ask me.

Pau did what he needed to ...

STAND UP.

I'm so proud of Pau, I don't know if he could have played any better.

Pau was amazing 2nite. He should have got the ball much more than He did. He made up for that sorry game against the BobCats.

Cuz Kobe was content to Jack 'em from deep. When you have someone who is attacking the hoop, give him the ball. Pau was in attack mode while Kobe was playing a bit soft(hardly aggressive). I say give the ball to the guy who is getting better looks. I think that is reasonable.
