One of the top bigs in the world, period. Comes back after the hamstring injury and gets all-star numbers right away. What a difference with him starting and Odom coming off the bench.

What can you say about this guy, misses 10 games, comes in and first game scores 24 with 13 rebounds, ridiculous.

11, but whos counting :man11:

Pau was great tonight. Everyone fed off of it, especially fish. Pau impacts everyone on the team. There is a reason he is the anchor for a very good spanish national team.

Solid, efficient performance...his insertion with the starters looked seamless. Gasol enables everyone to play their natural positions on the floor as well as revert to their roles on the first and second units.

Is this the thread to ask for Gasol for the starting lineup in the ASG ?

^ He won't get it. Way too much competition at the PF spot with Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitski. And let's be honest, he hasn't earned a spot because of his injury.

Well I wish he would get it, and if he'd been healthy the first 11 games, his shot would be much better. It'd be great to see another Laker there besides Kobe.

Well, seeing as how Laker fans are the most plentiful in all of the NBA, if we do our part we can have 4 Lakers starting on the All Star team (Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Bynum) :jam2:

^ I hope that doesn't happen. Right now Gasol doesn't deserve it since he hasn't proven it (not his fault, but that's the name of the game). And while Ron has been great for this team, he certainly does not deserve to go to the all-star game before Carmelo or Durant.

Solid welcome back game for Gasol. Hopefully, Phil's comments didn't make him rush back and he can avoid re-injury. Lesson that he and the Laker management should have learned from this affair: no more non-Olympic related international play while on contract for the Lakers. We're paying too much money to have our players play abroad during the time they should be resting and healing for the following season. It seems we dodged a bullet and got lucky on this one.

It's great to finally see our entire starting lineup out there, all healthy and paving the way to win another championship.
Derek Fisher is the heart and soul of this team- Kobe(Black Mamba)
When we win it, it's going to taste much sweeter knowing I played with the injury- Andrew(Lionheart)
Tomorrow is another opportunity to accomplish great things- Pau(Pauwer)
Ron Artest is the Game 7 MVP- Phil(Zen Master)
Q:Pierce says series isn't coming back to LA? A: [Mean Stare]- Derek(President)
If we don't win the championship, it's my fault- Ron(Tru Warier)

man what a difference. they looked pretty efficient out there last night. maybe it was just his night, but Pau looked awfully "intelligent" out there tonight. made cuts at all the right times, was in the right place at all the right times, and just made a lot of smart moves. glad to have him back that's fo sure.

Pau just makes everyone on the court with him better. I think what's really going to be great to watch is how Artest and Gasol work together, they are both incredible passers who understand the game. We saw a little glimpse of that last night with a few plays focusing on the 2, I'm sure as they continue to play with one another and understand each other's strengths we'll be in for some great plays outside of the normal Kobe and Bynum highlights.
