it's pretty much the same. both have nuclear deals. amare has 1 extra year i believe

Yeah A'Mare has an extra year, I don't see this happening at all though. Why would we want to be stuck with another bad contract for a year.

why not just bring back the entire '06 suns team while they're at it

nash comes over, then dan tony, then they talk about signing bell, an apparent trade for amare....

heck might as well trade for shawn marion, barbosa, and diaw. and then get tim thomas out of retirement. they should be trying to please dwight, not nash

If 2015, then we still have a chance whether or not we have Stoudemire.

I'd keep Pau rather than Amare.

1) His contract ends earlier.

2) He also does a better job as a 3rd option player on offense since he actually passes the damn ball. Which leads me to #3.

3) I think we're more likely to keep D12 with Pau here than Amare.

Mike Brown's lengthy practices...pretty much sums it up. Guys like Pau, Kobe, you only got so many minutes left in those bodies...best to maximize them. I recall (I could be wrong) where they mentioned the team practiced before one of the preseason games...I mean seriously. I can't be the only one that noticed the wraps on Pau's knees this year.

The whole team has looked more spry of late (except perhaps Pau). There is a reason for that...

Amare does not pass the ball, so... no. Otherwise, if healthy, he'd probably fit well. I still wouldn't do it though.

What if we get Novak & Shump & they take our junk, like Duhon/Ebanks? Straight swap of course not. Pau makes the Knicks scary imo. Melo would be so much better with Pau's passing..
