You guys literally run people out of town if they arent giving you want you want. After Kobe retires I can see myself turning into just a casual NBA fan the way I am with the NFL. Not down with fans who are spoiled and feel their entitled to everything.
ANYWAY. Whatever happens with Pau I hope he comes back to form soon and shuts everyone up. Either that or goes somewhere where hes respected a little more. Guy brought us back into contention after a few painful years of mediocrity and this is how we thank him. We run him out of town. Our leader disrespects him and says put your big boy pants on ( kobe should put play some defense and accept some responsibility too but all i ever hear him say is im still a bad muthaeffer....ok kobe.). Fans nickname him Gasoft.

. Lame. Hes not the only person on this roster who needs to step his game up. Theres no justification to belittling a player on OUR team. Dont give me the hes being paid this that and a third talk. The contract is what it is.
Oh boy, more preaching about what bad fans we are, first we needed to leave poor Mike Brown alone, now we should be nicer to the guy making 19 million dollars a year to play basketball that's playing like he's satisfied with his career as is. You keep on hoping he returns to form, we've all been waiting since the 2011 playoffs for him to return to form, pretty much a year and a half, we're into a 3rd season of waiting for him to return to form. So yeah, good luck with that waiting and hoping. LA and it's spoiled, disrespectful fans expect more, that's just how it is.

No, it's not. Nowhere did I read that in my job description as fan when I took the job, and I'm pretty tired of being told how to be a fan. You be a fan your way, I'll be one my way. Nice that you have some perspective having left LA though, I guess it's a bad town that makes you spoiled and ungrateful or something. Not sure how that applies to me in the OC in Anaheim, or fans in Hawaii, or Spain, or Agentina, or Poland, or many of the other countries represented here that voice their opinions on Pau just as strongly.
Anaheim is SoCal its not Canada. Laker town, still. lol at those other countries you brought up, whats your sample size 6, and all CL posters? Go anywhere else, Laker fans are basically labelled as snobby. Hell go on any NBA forum. Same can be said about other teams though. Im just not down to be a
that kind of fan after this Kobe-era.
Dont give a crap about Mike Brown dont put words in my mouth, he did nothing for the Lakers whereas Pau has therefore deserves some support. Im not telling you how to be a fan im teaching you common sense. You root for your players

. Forget the salaries, lets pretend its a pick up game and a dude on your team is in a slump with achy knees. Yes, players other then kobe get injured and play through pain effecting their performance. Do you demoralize him or root him on? Done.

All I'm saying is, I (or anyone else here) don't need to be preached to about how to be a fan. It's nice to know that you're out of LA now and above it all and therefore a better fan or something, thanks for the common sense lesson. Anaheim is not LA, people from my area are usually the people at Laker games in the nosebleeds cheering on the team as much or more than anyone, we're not rich, entitled fans. I'm not saying LA fans are lesser fans, just different, and certainly not all of LA as with anywhere else there are rich and poor areas in LA. I guess you're not one of us now or something though as you keep referring Laker fans in LA as "you guys", I guess you're a Kobe first fan as you pointed out, so enjoy picking a new team when he's gone I suppose.
As for Pau, I root for him to do well, he's a Laker and if he does well we do well, but we have rooted for him, and backed him, and stood up for him for a few years of poor play now. We have supported him plenty throughout the years, I don't believe any player is above eventual harsh criticism if their play continues to take a dive as long as Pau's has, even Kobe would not get a lifetime pass. Plus you speak of sample sizes when I bring up the people here from different countries, yet you're referring to the entire board as a group here as bashing Pau. So a sample size of maybe 50-100 regular posters, not even all of which are down on Pau, represents all of LA fans or something?
As a fan, you don't have to sit back and take bad play just because a guy is on your team, you don't have to love the player just because. I highly doubt you've loved every player to ever put on a Laker uniform, if you say you have I'd have a hard time believing you. And like I told the last guy, the guy I was referring to about leaving poor Mike Brown alone, this is a freakin message board, it's for venting as much as anything. I don't go around in real life calling our players names and such, but that's part of what this place is for to me, if you don't like it, you can easily ignore it, again, I don't need to be preached to about how to be a fan. Lastly, as far as what fans of other teams say about us, I couldn't give less of a crap. We're used to winning and we expect it, most of them are not and do not, so oh well.
