Timberwolves' trade is interesting but not what we need. DWill has good upside but thats it...we've yet to see him be as consistent as Pau at least. Pekovic is a good center imo and would be great behind Dwight on both ends and especially rebounding. BUT we already have Hill who i would rather play since were already paying him and know exactly what he'll bring every second hes on the floor for us.
I think Rapters' trade would make the most sense as you get Calderon who would be GREAT behind Nash. I like Duhon so idk but i think it would be a smart move. Bargnani although i think isnt as good as Pau. Not as good as a shooter, rebounder, or passer...hes just younger. Pretty much the trade would be for Calderon who has been playing well this year so far.

Guess we'll have to wait and see til after Pau and Nash are 100% and play together until anymore trade talks
Think hard about what Pau hasn't been able to do this year and last..... now think of Nash's strengths.... The two do not mesh in a way that makes Pau a better defender, make decisions on the offensive end or make Pau stronger to play the post again etc.
I believe this is cover for no one wanting the gigantic boat anchor that is Pau Gasol these days. The only potential destination that makes some sense is Minn. because they can open marketing avenues with both of the top 2 Spanish names in the NBA.
If we trade Pau it will be for players that have huge contracts that are disappointing as Pau is or it will be for a bunch of marginally talented players that don't fit with their current team. The days of trading him for an impact player are gone unless Mitch has got photos of some GM in Bangkok brothel.....
