I think we would loose every game...

Look for rotations of between the four, and look for Malone and Payton to run a pick and roll together... Modified triangle and all that good stuff.

But if you let "every man for himself" play, well never win. :man12:

yeah, it takes a team to win. besides, I think Malone and Payton will accomodate for Shaq and Kobe. They realize it's S&K's team and they wanna do what they can to get a ring.

Everyman for himself messes up the chemistry.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

I agree with the idea that Malone and Gary are there to help out Shaq & Kobe and to when a ring. They know that they arent going to be the one's running the show and have to work with Kobe, Shaq and the other Lakers in order to win. I think it'll work out fine.

Expect a lot of fast breaks. Especially between Kobe/Payton/George.

Either Kobe will steal the ball and kick it to Payton/George. Or Payton will steal it (The Glove) and throw alley's to either the athletic George or to Kobe.
The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you. LA Lakers, THE PERENNIAL CHAMPS!!!

THERE ARE ENOUGH BASKETBALLS TO GO AROUND

1 KOBE
Kobe will still average 26-30 points per game
his reb and asst. will probably dip from 6.9 & 5.9
his steals will go up from .08 to the 2 to 3 range

overall his life will easier not having to A bring the ball upcourt and B have to gaurd the other teams best man

2 SHAQ
Shaq will still average 25 points and 12 reb a game
his blocks will prob go up (with Kobe and Gary causing havoc in the back court expect to see more scrambling plays and desperate heaves from oppostion, allowing more block shot opp.)

overallhe will see less double teams with Malone down low allowing him more freedom to enjoy the game *something he hasent done lately

3 GLOVE
Garys average will dip from 18.5 to about 16.0 point per game
his asst will stay the same or increase from 8.7
his steals will go up from 1.3 to appox 2 to 3

overall Garys production wont dip too much, remember he shared the ball very well in Milwalkee were there was a lot of talent

4 MAILMAN
Karls average will dip from from 19.6 to approx 13 ppg
I do feel his reb will improve even with Shaq there from 6.8 to approx 10

overall Karl will have to make sacrifies and has show that he is ready to do so (1.5) in Utah he was the man and av 19.6 here he will be option 3 or 4, he will get far easier looks, so a higher FG% is likely, and i feel he will concentrate on rebs. and defense

KOBE appox 28ppg
SHAQ appox 26ppg
GLOVE appox 16ppg
MAIL appox 13ppg

THATS 83 POINTS PER GAME FROM A TEAM THAT WILL AVERAGE AT LEAST 105 PPG THAT STILL LEAVES 22 OR SO POINTS FOR RESERVES
