Phil played, Shaw.....thank you!

I told ya'll after game two we needed a pg and that Phil should play B. Shaw. Hmmmmm...... Let's see... We were down by 10, B. Shaw comes in a settles the offense and we win. This proves my point, rookies don't win Playoff games, 10 yr vets do. Shaw is more stable and smarty than those damn rookies. And Phil, thanks for the S. Walker sighting. Hell Horry gives us nothing and Mad dog, is a offensive liabilty and when KG see's that boy he's eyes light up. I hope Fox is ok, if not we're in trouble.

Shaw has always had a calming effect on the Lakers, and I think its true that when he comes into the game the Lakers tend to play better. As for Walker, is it me, or does it seem like everytime he gets a pass he is not ready for it and throws it away? Either way, it feels good that they got this one, now hopefully they will kick this Championship run into gear and take it to the Wolves in Minn. :boxing1:

That's why he's Mr. Dependable. He's always been a great player, and hits some clutch shots for us. Yea Yea!

Yup, Shaw's been sitting on the bench all year for this. Smart move by Jackson. Brian Shaw is the clutch. Good Job Shaw! :jam2:

Yea he's Mr. Dependable, but how do you think he got that way? I mean he was a ROOKIE before also. He got experience in games like that. How do you think the rookies are suppose to get better if they aren't put into game situations like these? Shaw played exceptionally well, don't get me wrong, but I still feel Phil needs to put in the rookies once in a while to get them accustomed to the NBA playoffs. Rookies are rookies and they WILL get better. You just need to understand that. You guys act like Gilbert Arenas is an all pro vet or something? Haha... The only reason why he's so good now is because he has been playing and getting good EXPERIENCE.

Good game today, but we still need to work on developing our younger players. We won't be having these vets for long, and we have to deal w/ that.

Yepp but we also need to recognize what Devean did, he hit that key jumper to give us dah lead 4 good!
Both of em hit very crucial trey and jumpers
And bout the rookies
I agree somewhat
but they gotta be put on the floor when Shaq and Kobe are on at the same time
Phil cant put all young legs out there
or we will get behind
Nice offense runs through with pargo
