phil is a miracle worker in the fact that he coached a team with d-league talent aside from kobe and lamar in 05-06 and 06-07 and led them to the playoffs both times, with the '06 team coming seconds away from defeating one of the top seeds in phoenix
i can guarantee you if phil wasn't the coach, those teams would have been at best a 9-10 seed
