A lot of people don't realize this. And the haters wanna always talk about this when comparing Kobe and the greats. A very few if any of the people on this list came off the bench for the first couple of years of their careers. Kobe is one of only a few if any who went to a Contending team.
If it doesn't matter who wins then why do they keep score?

I think Fisher11 is saying that Kobe doesn't care what other people say about him, because his game speaks for itself, and he cares more about winning championships than individual accomplishments.

Kobe is intentionally losing the games right now...he wants every series to go over 7 games so he can improve his total points scored in the playoffs :man1:

Unfortunately Kobe's playoff resume took a hit in this post-season by only playing in 10 games and not really having any Kobe type performances in any of the games. I think he should still end up as the all time leading scorer in the post season though.

He's 707 points behind MJ right now. Kobe basically got close to that in both of our championship playoff runs (09-10), but he also averaged 30 PPG in both of those runs with the Lakers playing 23 games each time. Doubt he has it in him to do that again. Lets play it safe and say he plays in an average of 11 playoff games per season for the next three years and averages 22 PPG. That would give him the #1 spot just barely, but it really depends on how Kobe's body holds up. The Lakers have the talent to make it to an eleventh playoff game each time but as ridiculous as it may seem, the 22 PPG may not come as easy since he will be nearly 36 years old by then.

Jordan averaged 22 at 40 with the wizards, if we all agree Kobe is the G.O.A.T.'s lil brother than he should still be able to average 22 or more at 36. :jam2: :man1:
