I would not trade Slava for all the tea in China, all the weed in Mexico and all the chocolate in Shawn Kemp's sock drawer. Slava has the potential, as we saw during the most critical moments for us against San Antonio (the best non Laker team defensively) in the second round of the freakin' playoffs...if he can average 12.5 in the playoffs (with PT) he can average 15-18 in the regular season. Give the 24 year old some slack, Phil forgot to play him these three years and when he finally did, the kid made Gregg Popvich single him out as someone to watch in the second half...Slava...He is the future and for now he is an excellent back up...He's even a decent starter next year if we have to use the MLE on Arenas or Payton...

hahaha! we should give slava at least another year to be re-evaluated before we decide to ship off potentially great talent like we've done countless times.

although Horry couldn't buy a bucket this postseason and walker is a piece of [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.], we don't wanna give em up for Mo Taylor. If anything, we want a young, ATHLETIC PF. The Triangle is all about ball movement and even though Mo is a good scorer, we need a quicker guy like Jermaine O'Neal (although that won't happen, but we need a guy whose style of play is similar).

and wassup with everyone saying trade devean?? once again, remember that we need to stay ATHLETIC! he couldn't really prove himself in the playoffs because of that nagging ankle injury that he was playing through. keep devean and use the MLE on payton.

We need to keep Horry and George, we can get rid of our older and less athletic players like Rick Fox or Mark Madsen but we need to keep the young athletic guys that have championship experience, otherwise Phil will spend too much money on old men...
