Well, we knew his D was nothing special when we got him, but that he brings good stuff in every other area. He's still better than any PG we've had in a long time, and I'm still gonna give him time to get used to our team, hopefully Brown uses him better going forward.

^^^ because we have an inept coach who should be fired at season's end.

Sessions a better than average pg. Westbrook is a top 3.

If anyone thought we brought in Gary Payton then that's your fault.

It doesn't help when Drew doesn't step in to protect the rim and Pau doesn't step up after a pick.

Whoever is on Durant and Harden can't leave them. And the rest of the guys are to slow to double and be able to recover.

Again, keeping Fish should have been the move. Start Fish for 12-15 mins a game and give the rest to Sesh who can come in and just go nuts.

In the past few games we all witnessed the discrepancy between Sessions and Fisher/Blake. Tonight we saw that the jump from Sessions to Westbrook might be just as large.

Ramon going under screens is a gameplan thing. Blake does the same thing. It's not him being afraid of contact, it's the coaches that are instructing the PG's to do it.

His D is nothing special, so I wasn't expecting nothing more then being able to stay in front of his man and for the most part he has done that.

Mike Brown isn't using this guy right. Not enough minutes, plays, time with the ball in his hands, letting him create. Nothing. He is a moron.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sessions left after this season. It's blatantly obvious his skills are going to waist because the coach without a backbone is scared to change things up a little bit. Seriously, let the guy create for everybody, that's what he does, that's who he is. It makes life easier for everyone. But please keep under utilizing him and playing the 25 year old the least minutes of the starters because Clown Brown has some divine plan that Blake with his "experience" will save the day and they are good enough to split minutes.

Let the kid play.

yea that was before mike brown brainwashed him with his ridiculously bad offensive playbook (if you can even call it that). ramon was arguably more useful to us NOT knowing any of the plays

I didn't even put that together. Lol it's actually true. Before he knew anything we were going crazy, the more he learned the further he spiraled.

It's pretty sad. The coaching staff must miss D. Fish so much that they are doing their best to turn Sessions into him. It's remarkable that he went from absolutely tearing everyone up, even waving Kobe off in the clutch to set up a higher percentage play that worked, knocking down momentum shots and dishing beautifully to walking the ball up the court, dumping it in and getting the hell out of the way.

It's kind of disgusting, actually.

Sadly, the only solution is to have Sessions play long minutes with the second unit. Our second unit look pretty decent with Sessions.

Start Blake. Play him for 15 mins a game with starters. Sessions plays the rest.

You have hit it on the nail. This is exactly what Brown has been working toward in a very passive/aggressive way. He won't get 15 minutes though. Blake will be splitting minutes. This is clearly what Brown wants.

Meanwhile, all of it goes against common sense. The FO gave him what he needed to succeed, and took away any obstacle to it by removing Fish. Instead of Fish now, Brown is loyal to Blake. This is all extremely conservative. Just like his decision to bench the rookie.

Brown doesn't want to utilize Sessions ability to create and run the offense on his own. It's a control thing, I guess. He'd rather play a guy who brings nothing on the offensive end but will run the Iso system.

It's all pretty discouraging. I thought we had a puncher's chance with the addition of Sessions. But clearly I think he will be relegated to less minutes coming up. And certainly he won't be allowed to do his thing with the starting unit any longer.

Sessions should be playing a minimum of 35 minutes a game. Anything less is stupidity. Meanwhile MB has Kobe at 40 minutes a game...

Yup. Blake's gonna log 25 mins per game.... :bang:

On another note, how good would Shannon Brown look right now if we still had him and run him out there with Sesh and Barnes.....

^^ It would be explosive that's for sure! On the other hand think about how good GLOCK would look out there - not explosive but at least a good spot up shooter to provide some more offense. Brown benching him is still unbelievable.

Sorry Ramon, even a pencil sharpener would know how to use your skills to maximize your talents on this team. Sadly Brown doesn't want to or give you the proper minutes to do that. I completely understand if you opt out at the end of the season and go somewhere else because are incompetent coach thinks that you are Derek Fisher.
