That's right.. It's usually the young guns who think they can have the money and the ring too. But it's just a team a year who get that advantage to call themselves numba 1! And we're still the most dominating team, and even after this season, they still gonna watch out for us, cuz at any god given time, we can prevail!

so instead of telling us who the Lakers cant or wont get tell us who they can and will??

there is NO SINGLE free agent player the LAKERS can bank on as to come help address our needs. Everyone down the line will opt for the money/location/entertainment but, the most dominating factor is MONEY.
For the right amount of money some of these free agents would play in SIBERIA for goodness sake. The bottom line is money clouds the mind especially too much of it.

I don't know if we can sign the players we want. Probably not, but if we get only 1 of the rumored big players (Malone, Howard, Brown, Payton, etc...) we will be back on top...so the job is easier than the rest of the competition thinks...we simply need to sign ONE of the miriad of available players that WANT LA...

As long as they care about winnin a title and not the money, then we str8!

People who KNOW BASKETBALL (like Jack Ramsey and Greg Popovich) respect Kobe as the most talented basketball player in the league, and the Lakers as the best unit as far as mental preparation and championship resolve. If the free agents can't look past their bank accounts to see that, they deserve to lose...

Yea Reddy, the Ring was a tight ole movie! It all left me hangin in the end and stuff... But the ring is the main objective in the NBA. All players can have money, but only a team a year gets that championship title...

Players that are young hunt 4 the cash
Older Players or as we call them vetrans, have tons of cash and jsut want eh fame of a championship ring.

See they cant have their cake and eat it too... That's the way it runs... Championships dont include money, but hard work and determination!
