Robert Horry News on Return

Postby Lakers Dynasty 2000 on Wed Jun 25, 2003 4:59 pm

Fred Roggin just said on his show that earlier they spoke to Horry about his return to the Lakers and he said the following:

- He didn't believe he was

- He said if they were thinking of bringing him back, they haven't said so yet and he assumes that means he's not coming back

He also said he was unhappy enough with how his agent handled him with the Lakers, and that he thus got a NEW agent.

Well LD2K, I hate to see Robert go but if the Lakers do pass on picking him up for next season I hope like hell they'll do the right thing and get some guys that can help the team.

Don't worry, they will reveiw with Horry. It is still (in a sense, prior to the draft and stuff) early...

And Horry won't go to any other team besides the 3 Texas teams besides L.A. anyways, so he will go rev. with the Lakers before he leaves anyways.

No biggie, just an update.

Cool, Cool. Rob's given us some great memories in any case. I would hate to see him in a Houston Uniform.

Yeah, i think it all has to do with how the Lakers do in the draft and during free agency. Depending on that, they will consider whether to bring Big Shot Rob back. I hope everything works out for the best for both Horry and the Lakers.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

It's sad seein players go... but with time does come our goodbyes and age. Man.. I'm gonna miss him if we decide not to keep him... I love him for what he's done, but most importantly for what he will do in the future...
