We need to sign another big man if Dwight is so sensitive about his shoulder for the rest of his shoulder :)

Pau Gasol will get an MRI tomorrow in Boston on his R foot. Lakers call it a “plantar fascia strain.” Foot has bothered him all season.

I obviously hope so as well, but the way Pau has been scoring, we're going to miss that if he's out any length of time. Pau being a threat to score and being a good passer in the post I believe has opened a lot of things up, Dwight is great for defense, but he's not a huge offensive threat and not the passer Pau is.

we better try to go after k martin or an other big man who can defend and rebound. i know many of you guys can t stand kenyon martin but he would help the lakers

I'm not saying we don't need Pau, but if we're out BOTH of those guys then we're not winning many games.

If they are both out I too wonder if they're thinking about bringing in an insurance big like Martin. Hopefully not Martin himself : , but there's gotta be somebody decent out there to be had.

I'd pick up Fesenko and Martin at this point and let Ebanks/Morris go.

I'll pass on Fesenko for now. Sacre can give us everything Fesenko can. But definitely we need a Martin on the bench.

Our centers have a shelf life of 2 weeks, I'm just planning ahead.

Got it. We could use as many bigs as possible.

Dwight needs to come back quick & stay healthy, and we need to find another big. Can't roll with Sacre getting big minutes

At this point, I'd give Martin a call. We need at least some depth, and... uh... Sacre is a cool guy, but he's not exactly "depth".

DJ Benga??? we know he can block some shots and grab some boards

Troy Murphy- he can shoot the long ball 6'11 I didnt think he was horrible last year, would just help while Howard is gone

Hassan Whiteside- I thought he would become a good player in the league but was stuck with the Kings

Donte Green- is 6'10 - 6'11 - maybe Mike just wants to go small ball and just needs a big body who can shoot. Donte would be an interesting experiment

Sean Williams- I think he is in China, he can block shots and rebound

Wasn't there a guy on our d-league team that could defend?

Oden - isn't he still out until the summer? I don't think he is ready now. And like with B Roy, we know that won't last.

Martin has knee issues too, right!

Murphy may be best option, though Clark and sacre are better at protecting the rim.

If we get Dwight! We could really tread for a bit - esp with jamison, Clark and Nash all playing better.

Think we can trade Metta for anything? Thoughts?

I heard Knicks were looking at Ben Wallace, maybe we should give him a call too. He's still alot better then Sacre even at his current age.
