Well he's dumb as a brick and he's actually starting over in Washington right now. I think he'd be harder to get than we'd like AND I don't know if I'd want him. I'd really love if CDR could come available, but it seems unlikely.

he's starting cause Ariza is hurt not because he's better than the next guy but I'm sure we'd have to give Wiz some more incentive then just Clark and or any of the turds we want to dump.

Gasol isn’t the only player the Lakers have explored moving, sources near the situation say the Lakers would like to open up a roster spot to add a new player or two so don’t be surprised if guys like Jordan Hill, Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris or Darius Johnson-Odom are moved in exchange for a backup point guard or a second round draft pick in order to open a spot for the Lakers to sign one. - Steve Kyler, Hoopsworld

but with that said anyone that doesnt think our bench has talent is on crack. look at our bench last year.
meeks 3 point sharp shooter, who isnt a dumbfrack, hill a solid forward center solid defensively and solid offensively, jamison you already know what he does 15-20 (15 more since hes coming off the bench and just a role player) pt player any given night,
and besides that duhon has been more than good, hes been great, his production (i say this because their different type of PGs) is what we expected from blake but never got.
in a perfect world we would of had sessions coming off the bench, but this is better than what we can ask for,
they're just not being utilized right, and we though this was going to change with mike brown gone, but we just got a slightly better mike, and its still the same.
and anybody thinking we would be in the same situation if we had PJ is on crack, PJ taking a player out for a lack of defense means much more than when MDA does it, same goes goes for offense, same goes for ANY TYPE OF MESSAGE that is SENT
). On top of that Ebanks shot himself in the foot with that DUI. So they should have dropped him like a hot potato and gone after Pietrus. They can still drop him and go after CDR and they should. But Ebanks is the only weak spot right now. Even Morris has value as a defender and corner three point shooter. We have a capable bench other than at SF. Fix that and we should be good. I hate all this roster change talk right now. It annoys me to no end.Big Mamma Jamma wrote:therealdeal wrote:Unless Minny is willing to part with K-Love for some reason or AK47 and Williams... I say AK47, Ridnour, Williams and draft picks ... that would be good. I think Mitch could probably squeeze more out of Minny. Salaries of Pau and a throw in player match with those three Minny players.
I love Pau and wonder if the Lakers could get more.
Btw, real ... I think there should be one day every year where you post just pictures. I love your insights but miss the pics!

Minny wants Pau
Let's make it work.....
Lakers trade - Pau/Duhon
Lakers get - Lee / Bass / DWill / Barea
Minny trades - Pek / DWill / Barea
Minny gets - Pau
Boston trades - Lee / Bass
Boston gets - Pek / Duhon
Nash / Barea
Meeks / Lee
Kobe / DWill
MWP / Bass / Jamison
