They got rid of Delonte West too. They also benched Darren Collison in favor of Derek Fisher.

yea and it all worked , it got Collison to player better and when Fish was playing he was actually decent. Yea bring him em' in not like it's gona matter anymore.

Definitely wouldn't mind having him backing up MWP, he's very active defender who can hit the occasional three. Oh and he's also a pretty good finisher.

So, January 15th, everybody can be traded on an NBA roster, right? Rudy Gay is interesting; although he's not shooting particularly well this year.

Is Ariza available? Would love to swap him for Artest.

^That would be a downgrade. Metta is still a better defender and shooter than him.

if the Wizards offered you Mason/NEne (bad contract) and Ariza for Pau would you do it?

Upgrade IMO. What Ariza brings athletically would be far more beneficial than his negatives. We direly need a guy like him on both ends.

I'm not too into all this cap stuff but on paper? Hell yeah. Nene is about as good as Pau right now, if not better. He's more agile and athletic and can help us defensively. And you get Ariza also? No brainer.

Ariza is horrible this year on both ends...

Nothing a change of sceneary can't change. I know what he brings to the table. I would only ask him to do what he's capable of.

Swapping Ariza for Metta is asinine. Ariza is worse than Metta in nearly every way except the vertical leap at this point. Getting Ariza for a backup role is another story, but financially it doesn't make sense either.

Sam Young or CDR would be nice for our bench. We just need some damn athletes. Some young guys willing to throw their bodies around. We've got Meeks and Jordan who have been great for us, but we need one or two more guys like that. Constant motor guys that can get out and run.

I don't think it's as asinine as you make it. Metta is the better overally player but we direly need a guy like Ariza. What he brings to the table would outshine his flaws IMO. But i've harped on them for a couple of years now so i won't go into them.

He doesn't bring anything to the table outside of a bit of athleticism. He's a poor shooter, he's a poor ball handler, he's an alright defender but not what he used to be, he's injury prone, he's expensive.

There's a reason New Orleans got rid of him and there's a reason Houston got rid of him faster.

what bout Dominic Aquire, didn't he get waived out of Tor too?
