Morrow?.... did you mean Meeks?

MWP will be safe.... and he'll probably be our second leading scorer until Kobe returns.... for what that's worth.

Artest is far from safe. I think he gets amnestied any day now. If for no other reason than amnestying him saves us a ton of money and puts us close to or below the luxury tax threshold.

Well if were not going to trade Pau we pretty much have no trade assets now? Who could we realistically trade to bring back anyone of any value. Im not sure id even want to trade Pau at this point. He wanted to fully operate the post now he has his wish, I just hope hes ready to do the defensive work too.

I see us giving up around 120 ppg this year. :disagree:

Bring the old 2009 band back for one last run to hold us over til 2014 if only for nostalgia reasons and some LO comedy. They're gonna be old and slow but what the heck? One last reminder of the good ld times before the "Basketball Reasons" era began a coupleof years back

Luke Walton can stay behind though or apply as Jimmy's bartender

Would love to do that.. Warriors were trying to dump Lee for Pau last season.. Lee & Barnes for Pau?

Also.. Love the idea of bringing back Sasha, LO, trading for Ariza.. I read that Farmar wouldn't be returning to the Lakers because his buyout from his team in Turkey is higher than the salary we can offer.

I know at least someone here expressed interest on Omri Casspi, well he's gone too now.

@WojYahooNBA: Free agent Omri Casspi has reached agreement on a two-year deal with the Houston Rockets, league source tells Y! Sports.

Maybe Mitch took today off. He's probably back at home pissed off and trying to create the next master plan going forward.

I don't think he's trying to create it. I think it's already in place. It just isn't going to happen this year. If he's smart he won't sign any of the people this board is clamoring for. we do not want to be a 35-45 win team. We want to be 55 or 20. nothing inbetween. Mediocrity breeds MORE mediocrity. Ask the Bucks.

Nick Young or Mullens for the mini mle.. Minimum signings of LO, Sasha & another big if we got Young & a shooter if we got Mullens.. Maybe Morrow.. Hopefully find a way to trade for Ariza.. Would they take MWP + future 2nd? Get Rambis on the coaching staff & Phil helping D'antoni use Kobe, Pau & the rest of his former players correctly.. I'd consider that a successful offseason & think we could actually be a legit playoff team.

If they gave that for Harris I'm sure they offered even more to bring Collison back.. Clearly he's going to get more than we can offer.

No one available that could make one difference. Lakers would need a miracle season of health and somehow getting someone like Kevin Love for nothing. Lakers are probably not going to make the playoffs this year.

Which is fine. We'll get a nice solid pick in a deep draft that way.

True, but you still have to have a minimum of 12 players on your roster going into a season, we have to sign people just because at this point. Also a few more signings
