Would you be willing to trade a first round pick? I think that might be what it takes to get a deal done.

Probably not honestly and we probably don't want our cap space taken up by the likes of Henderson anyway.

I voiced my concern of CDR, while you pretty much dismiss Maggette, not much of difference to me...I agree voicing different opinion but then when I do it I get accused of "deficating" others opinion and not allowing others to express theirs "enthusiasm" for a player...go figure.

This again? Seriously?

Everyone else has moved on and you still can't get over this?

There's a difference between posting a differing opinion and posting an opinion with a negative attitude. You don't like him? Fine. You're free to not like him. But you alienated the rest of us who DO like him for no reason. If you're going to come after others for their opinions of, in your opinion, a "scrub" then expect some backlash.

CL is about coming hard and supporting your opinions. We're doing that because you had to so aggressively determine that we shouldn't be excited about Douglas-Roberts. You didn't just post your opinion. You degraded ours. There's a difference.

Don't get it? Read my example above again.

Hardly, I asked why the hype for him and with such great attributes why he can't latch onto a team? Calling him a scrub was harsh but no different then you calling out Maggette in your previous post.

I mean how do you even make this statement " He was worse than Douglas-Roberts last season." when CDR was on a team for like a week and Maggette hardly even played?

Because of the statistical evidence.

Maggette shot worse, scored less, and he was on a guaranteed contract. He had more opportunities and he did less with it. It's fact.

I will not continue to rehash this tired argument. I'm not the only one who saw your approach to our excitement as insulting and I responded to it. I don't know why you're obsessed with continuing this line of thought.

2.8 ppg on 35.7% shooting 6 gms
5.8 ppg on 35.5% shooting 18 gms

not much of a difference to me, both horrible

Josh Selby can BALL. Good pickup. He reminds me of Jerryd Bayless

Is this line up realistic?

Nash/Farmar
Kobe/Sasha
Artest/Young
LO/Hill
Pau/Kaman

Meeks and Blake are gone through a trade or amnesty one of them
And dump the other

rydjorker didn't write a glowing review of Selby, but I think he has a shot at making the team honestly.

That kind of athleticism on the perimeter grants him a lot of luxuries. I'm hoping he shows some stuff in the Summer League and gets a camp invite.

We can't trade our 2014 1st unless we do it on draft day, but maybe we include a Hill for Biyombo swap to get it done? Henderson is much better than any SF we can realistically get without giving up Pau.

The guy who is all about winning, never gave Golden State a shot, huh? Even after they built an extremely intriguing team?

No worries. It's all in the spoiler now so it's no big deal.

What's crazy though is maybe you're right. I mean... I thought it was hilarious when "slim thug" was talking about strip clubs but maybe that's the kind of thing Dwight was actually interested in? Who knows...

It's Houston's problem now.

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing 3m
Kaman: 1-year, $8m deal last year --> 1-year, $3.2m from Lakers now. Nick Young: 1-year, $6m last year --> 1-year, $1.2m from Lakers now.

Bargain bin thievery.

Sure, it's that's easy, go find them and email Mitch.

Maybe you can be less pessimistic and be happy about players who took a cut to take low rate 1 year deals.

TheOP - Only if you're playing for something of significance. Next year, we are not. No one should kid themselves. This shows that we aren't going to tank, but I hope no one believes for one second we are contending for a damn thing.

MDA is our coach and detests defense and everything it stands for. No one on the club can defend their own shadow. MWP can in small doses, Kobe roams, Hill will get a couple blocks and that's it.

Our games this year will be won by scoring more points on offense, not by stopping anyone for a single possession of any game.

This is probably just the optimist in me talking, but I really I think a more fluid offense that doesn't have to cater to various different playstyles in order to appease a bunch of stars might go a long way in solving our defensive issues. No more DC12 to clog up the paint and turn it over all the time might help out our defense at least a little bit.
