No worries. It's all in the spoiler now so it's no big deal.

What's crazy though is maybe you're right. I mean... I thought it was hilarious when "slim thug" was talking about strip clubs but maybe that's the kind of thing Dwight was actually interested in? Who knows...

It's Houston's problem now.

If we sign Farmar, I'd love to trade Blake for Ariza BUT I think Blake isn't going anywhere

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing 3m
Kaman: 1-year, $8m deal last year --> 1-year, $3.2m from Lakers now. Nick Young: 1-year, $6m last year --> 1-year, $1.2m from Lakers now.

Sure, it's that's easy, go find them and email Mitch.

Maybe you can be less pessimistic and be happy about players who took a cut to take low rate 1 year deals.

TheOP - Only if you're playing for something of significance. Next year, we are not. No one should kid themselves. This shows that we aren't going to tank, but I hope no one believes for one second we are contending for a damn thing.

MDA is our coach and detests defense and everything it stands for. No one on the club can defend their own shadow. MWP can in small doses, Kobe roams, Hill will get a couple blocks and that's it.

Our games this year will be won by scoring more points on offense, not by stopping anyone for a single possession of any game.

This is probably just the optimist in me talking, but I really I think a more fluid offense that doesn't have to cater to various different playstyles in order to appease a bunch of stars might go a long way in solving our defensive issues. No more DC12 to clog up the paint and turn it over all the time might help out our defense at least a little bit.

Seriously these are some great pickups from Mitch.

There's no one out there in our price range who we could have gotten that are any better than these two. There's no lock down defenders available for the minimum. There's no three point specialist worth a crap that's willing to sign for one year here. We're going to be a poor defensive team, but we really ought to click offensively. Even for an older group.

It's going to be a fun season. I won't expect too much and we won't get disappointed. :man10:

THE NETS SIGNED ANDREI KIRILENKO TO A ONE YEAR $3.1MILLION CONTRACT

He opted out of a $10.2million from the T'Wolves :man4:

Anyways...Nets are looking like an all-star team on paper. Beat the Heat!

Lakers have enough scorers in the starting line up. Bring in Ronnie Brewer. He's a good defensive SF.

Another thing to look at is of D would be better with Odom or Hill guarding pnr over Pau, Jamsion, Clark at the 4

What's next though.....

Nash / Farmar / Blake
Kobe / Meeks / _____
Young / _____ / _____
Hill / _____ / _____
Pau / Kaman / Sacre

1.) I didn't put Kelly because we didn't keep our last second round pick and him having an injury that is 6 weeks away from doing anything, doesn't guarantee him a spot.

2.) We need wings on top of wings. I don't like the idea of Kobe/Young at the 3 because that means Meeks/Blake have to take over the two and that has disaster written all over it.

3.) Speaking of Blake, hopefully they move him. I'd rather find a cheaper option and let Farmar and whoever slug it out over the backup job. And we don't need an injury prone PG backing up an injury prone PG.

4.) R. Brewer, S. Young, D. McGuire.....We need 1 or 2 (preferably) 2 for some help on the wings defensively. None can shoot, but we can't depend on Kobe to guard opposing 3's every game. That's not right to give him that burden. I'd love two stoppers on the wings.

5.) Backup 4. Odom / Martin / Brand / Maxiell. Snag one of these guys up.

6.) I just don't want Meeks on the team.

I wouldn't mind Ronnie Brewer, but why not James Johnson? I'd like to take a gamble with him for our 12th spot, and get a summer league guy for the 13th. I like Lester Hudson and Souleyman Diabate but I don't think our team really needs any more of those guards, and Ian Hummer out of Princeton can be interesting.

I think it's likely Mitch continues this continuity/chemistry theme by getting back Lamar Odom though: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... s-Clippers

If true, Odom, Young, Farmar, Kaman. In terms of sizzle, this was a good offseason. In terms of the steak, I have doubts about Farmar and Kaman, but, it's decent.

^^^ We only have 10 guys so far. We still need to find two more rotation players (SF/PF).

After that, I'd be fine with taking some chances on guys that look promising.

That James Johnson pickup would interesting. I wouldn't mind that. We need some defense on this team. At least two people have to play it.

Twolves and Bucks agree to help out KevMartin deal with SnT.
Allows Minny to keep their MLE (for Brewer) while getting Martin and Thunder get a fat TPE.
What the F? Why help out like that?

Nobody will SnT with Lakers, because they know it'll come back to haunt them. F those biahatches.
