D'Antoni not talking to him is probably the only reason Dwight is still considering staying. :man12:

How can you have your head coach not say anything to the guy you're convincing to stay. That's just pathetic.

What difference does it make. What coach can you bring in to this teams right now that would make a difference that isnt already coaching, retired or dead.

Well if he chased Dwight away I'd say its the first good thing he's done since Pops died..... Howard isn't a real Laker any way.

Mitch should submit his resignation tomorrow moring to expose what is going on with one chicken head owner and to protect Dr. Buss name and brand of the franchise. There is no role or business for Mitch with Jimm running the show except to make Mitch Jimm puppy dog.

It's OVA, the Lakers choose Mike D'Antoni over Dwight Howard, unbelievable.

My worst fear is Mitch saying "enough is enough" and resigning.

First we lose the best coach in basketball, then we lose the best GM - all because of the idiot child at the controls... :bang:

Mitch should leave because he is too good to be up under the control of jimmy. I thought he almost left a year ago out of frustration with jimmy.

Well what was he gonna say anyway? This is a coach who thinks threes are a good shot every time you're open, and that the post up is the least efficient play in basketball.

Im not upset over Dwight leaving. Im upset over the idiot coach we have and the owner who hired him when he shouldnt have and then refused to terminate him even after he performed poorly and the guy you claimed was Kobe's heir considered leaving (and eventually did) partially because of this idiot coach.

Better coach, or atleast better owner, and the Clown would have stayed.

Im not buying it. It's easy to hate on D'antoni, but to be honest I think he's being used a scapegoat.

I'd rather see Baseball Cap Boy step down than lose the best GM in basketball.

I can only imagine Jimmy is going to be feeling some serious heat from TWC - how are they going to sell programming/retain sponsors now?

Last thing they want is some idiot who is trying to learn on the fly running the show in L.A.

The FO is to blame for hiring a coach whose system was not even close to being a good match for our personnel.

Dumbtoni's share of the blame lies in his inability or refusal to adapt and change once that became obvious.
