Did someone put us in a "Way Back" machine.... Where's Mr. Peabody?

Lol, might not be a popular opinion, but as with Farmar, I would take him back. You could do worse for the minimum, and I assume that's what he'd come for. He could be frustrating, but I always did like the guy, he can shoot, he hustles on d, and I would assume his game has matured at least a little bit. If you take into account his time in NJ, IMO Sasha > Meeks.

I'd definitely prefer Farmar. :man10:

He hasn't been in the NBA in 2 years, but the last time he was here he shot 37% from the 3 point line. He also averaged that much for Turkey last season.

I guess he wouldn't be the worst addition. But damn I remember how much I hated him here before he left...

I'm waiting for the reports of us talking to Smush, Walker, Slava, or Chucky. I guess Mitch is saving that for day 3.

Yeah I do remember most being fed up and frustrated with him before he was traded, maybe nostalgia is clouding my judgement. I remember people being mad at him for the same reasons as Shannon, he was chucking up shots sometimes like he thought he was Kobe. I did like how he played with passion though, and he is 29 now, not a kid, perhaps more mature, and if 'Antoni is our coach he might be just right for his green light "system".

I don't want Farmar, and as for Sasha, unless we miss out on everyone we've been in contact with thus far then I would pursue Sasha.

I did love how feisty he was on defense when he came into the game though.

Yeah he was having trouble finding his stroke from outside and that's actually what opened the door for Shannon in the first place. His heart was always in the right place, but his decision making wasn't great and his shot wasn't falling. He was Meeks before Meeks got here.

But again, he found his stroke in a new location and if he can come in and shoot the ball, then I'd welcome him for the minimum.

I'd still prefer the others we'd contacted though. Especially Ellington, Garcia, Delfino (if healthy), and even Mullens.

I'll take it.. He can hit the 3 & has championship experience next to Kobe.. He should be able to beat out Meeks for the minutes behind Kobe.

Sasha had some great moments for sure, but I cant help but remember how his play had forced the resurrection of the name "Stinky" by the time he was traded.

I like Sasha, and I cant say Id be upset if we brought him back since it would mean he looked damn good in his workout. Still, if it were my choice.......

Actually Sasha is more valuable to us at this point than Jordan if forced to choose. He can shoot and in a pinch play point. Farmar is fast and can run..... But no one else on the team can.

Farmar is fine but Sasha is just a taller Meeks, all hustle/heart but no on court production.....but if we getting all these old lakers we better be getting Phil with that...whats next Walton? :man6:

Sasha Vujacic or Jodie Meeks ? Who should be our backup SG for Kobe Bryant, and who is a better 3pts specialist shooter ?
