Should Phil give KB the "Green Light?"

I think Phil should just give Kobe the green light, at least just for game 4. i mean, if kobe gets hot early, it completely disrupts the mentality of the wolves (i.e. in game 1). lakers got off to a hot start and then never looked back. let kobe drop 40 on them and rest in the fourth while the lakers are killing the wolves. when kobe gets hot, he does 2 things: gets the twolves in foul trouble and makes them only focus on defending kb, while other players get more room to operate later in the game. you all have seen how kobe can just go mad if phil designates him as a scorer. for example, in the game he played where he dropped 56 on the griz in 3 quarters, he easily could have gone for 70-80 points, especially cuz ur playin against the griz in garbage time. this just goes to show you how powerful kobe can be if phil lets him go (even though they were against memphis, that's still no joke). so i think they should let him score, what do u guys think?

I think that sounds like the best thing to try. If it isn't working out, we can ALWAYS throw it in to Shaq 12 times in a row to get the wolves into foul trouble and get some offensive consistency from the Big Fella, but I am ALWAYS in favor of letting Kobe do what he does better than anyone ever has...SCORE!!

Yes, Kobe needs to get hot early, especially with the great defense Min. is playing. Like you mentioned, it will open up everyone else alot, we can get role players involved, and when that triple team comes, give the ball to Shaq.

I really don't think it's such a great idea. I like the idea of giving Shaq more opportunities in the paint. Why? Shaq is gonna get the double and triple teams, so kick it out to wide open players, just as simple as that. With Kobe as a creater and penetrater I feel the Lakers can play a better game... The D also lacks tremendously!!! We gotta step it up all 48 and make them work the way they been makin us.

Yepppers...That's the way that 1st worked, and it's gonna be how we win it once again. Once we get them into foul trouble in the paint, then we got the psycological part of the game covered.

Yea pounding the ball to Shaq is the key, he really got some of his explosivness back in this game..hopefully it'll keep risin

The offense HAS to run through Shaq.
He just makes everything work. HE can either have a jump hook, a dunk, draw the foul, or two, or give it to the open man, for the trey or the jumper......
