Blake has been the difference maker for us the last 5 games or so.... He's playing the best ball he's played since his Portland days. It seems that the added pressure of starting and picking up the slack left by Kobe is something he is thriving on.... Who Knew?....

Props to Blake though that lazy crosscourt pass to Gasol that nearly resulted in a turnover during the dying seconds of OT had me freaked out for a moment.

He's really stepped up his game to a level I thought impossible for him. I'm glad we didn't move him last season, without him I don't think we'd have won these last couple of games. Please continue this awesome level of play in the post season White Snake! :jam2:

Blake is playing ferocious and polished basketball. Hitting shots, Ding up and leading the offense. He is outplaying opposing PGs and making Nash look like he should retire. Blake is another potential hero in this series. He and Pau can have a lot to do with getting into the next round.

I agree. He's playing at a high level right now.

He has taken his game up a notch when his team needs it and when it counts.... there is no stat for that yet it's the single most important quality in a player.

If Blake & D12 can give the same effort in game 2, we just need 2 of Pau, Meeks, Jamison, Clark to have good games for them & we should be in control of the game.

Blake has earned the right to come back next year for me. Finally he's playing at the level we all thought we were getting so long ago. This Blake is a killer.

Unfortunately this Blake is also only about as good as a backup PG should be. :man10:

We shouldn't be relying on him so much. He needs help. STEVE BLAKE needs help providing offense for this team... oi...

He's pretty damn good under D'Antoni. I imagine this is the kind of play Mitch envisioned when signing him. Hopefully he can carry this strong play into next season.

Hopefully he can maintain the current level of D on the dinged up Parker all series. That's a must for us to have even a remote chance.

He played with tons of heart out there tonight. He's basically the only guard we have right now. Hopefully the hammy is ok. If it's not...YIKES! I don't want to imagine Morris starting in a NBA playoff game.
