Roll out the carpet for this guy, he is going to make our point guard rotation and our lineup in general sooo much better.

Its been so long since we've had a legit point guard. So dearly long. :man6:

You guys see what he's doing out there? Accurate passing? Controlled dribble-driving? What are these new and frightening things???

Can we make this the official Steve Blake Appreciation Thread?

Yeah, he is great for this team. Great pick up.

Was about to mention that and yeah he looked great out there. 18pts/6 assists, created for others, didn't press the issue, hit open shots.

Good call on an appreciation thread for Blake.

I can already tell that we're gonna love having him in a Laker uniform.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Dammit, the one preseason game I miss we win in a blowout and Steve Blake tears it up and shoots 8 for 10. :bang: So glad we got this guy, I think this thread is going to be used a lot this year.

I love the fact that I'm not worried that he's going to take a stupid shot or randomly turn it over.

My only concern is whether he has the ability to create for himself and finish in the lane like Farmar could.

 It's exciting watchin this guy run the triangle so well already. His basketball IQ is through the roof. :jam2:
Can you guys do anything to free you up off of him or make some adjustments for next game?

Blake is non-deserving of this thread.. he hasn't done anything for the Lakers.

Since when is that a criterion for deserving a thread?

The fact that we now have a high IQ pass-first pg that can knock down shots and has great handles. We all love Fisher, but Blake is proving to be incredibly nice to have. Stop trying to crash the party.

He hasnt done anything for this team- yet. I'll appreciate him when he does something.

This thread is premature.

Well I'm sure everyone is very sorry that it was made slightly early for your liking, I'm sure this will be rectified.

Yeah Steve Blake sucks... he missed two shots tonight. If he was any good he would have made them all.

There's dozens of threads every season that are have no point, no purpose, and contribute almost nothing to the site.

This man put up fantastic numbers today, the coaching staff is raving about him, and he's proven himself already to be a more capable leader off the bench than Farmar ever could.

Considering the biggest thread I can ever remember being in the Lakers Discussion area was the Ron Artest thread that was 500 pages before he even became a Laker, I say this thread is perfect.

I'll be sure to contact the ClubLakers authorities and see to it that mistakes like this are avoided in the future. You can fill out a formal complaint if you'd like.
