Great game from him tonight. We know he can't do it every game but Blake has games like this. Should have more of them with D'antoni.

He must be having a lot of sex, because he was shooting with some major confidence tonight.

Has D'Antoni actually unlocked the real Steve Blake before he got here to the Lakers? Wow his body language and the way he goes about it on the court is completely different than how we're used to seeing.

Mike Brown killed all his offense... or something like that. This wasn't the Blake I was watching last year, that's for sure.

With Nash there nobody expects him to play like a starter, that's the big difference !!

fail, he turned it over when he tried to pass to Jamison foot and lead to a 3pt play on the other end which was on him as well.

Fail on YOU! I posted that before the game started homie.

great for YOU! then, keep up your praise and dont switch up the next time we actually face a backup with speed thats gona run circles around him.

Wait so who ran circles around him? Where's your hate now?

played very well. made good decisions and can really run the point very well as a backup. he was aggressive in the 4th when the team needed someone to step up and he scored like 7 straight. looks like hes been learning from nash bc he had some of his moves. that probing and shooting baseline...the one legged jumper that he passed to sacre who made an excellent read and pass to blake for the 3. looked good out there. :jam2:

AND drew 2 offensive fouls in a row!!!! great game even if #'s dont show it

8 miles had a few solid minutes out there when we needed. He scored on 3 consecutive possessions...probably a career high for him LOL.

just night and day difference with him as backup pg vs. duhon/morris. he's no star, but at least he doesn't actively hurt the team like other options. he did some very good things to keep the lakers afloat in both halves in terms of probing the defense on the dribble and knocking down shots.

imagine if the lakers had both him and nash for the entire season.

He's a great 3pt shooter when he wants to be and he usually starts to slack off when he becomes hesitant to shoot.

I've been pleasantly surprised with Blake's play as of late. I was even more surprised to see a Laker fan wearing a Blake jersey at the game. :man10:

Not really surprised, Blake will never do good against top contending teams because basically every single one of them have 1's and 2's that are just flat out bigger, faster, stronger and better than him.

He will have good games against a mid-tier to lower tier team, but that's about the extent of it.

Haters after one bad game. Ridiculous.

Where were you when he was playing well and keeping us in games in the 4th quarter on the road? So he looked bad today, so what? Very few of our players looked good.

Norris Cole made Blake forget how to dribble, he looked like a freshman college guard on a tiny school against a senior star guard on the #1 team in the country. Full court press and double teaming in the backcourt made him s*** his pants in other words.
