The guy is shooting 27% FG! He cannot drive, he cannot hit open shots. Cannot play D. He can pass a little, so let him play as Farmar's back-up PG or smth...(

yes not his fault he can't guard 2's but lets not act like he can guard 1's either. The worse part bout his game as he progressively gets worse from the perimiter, the less aggressive he'll be when it comes to jacking up shots, he's basically just a body taking up space on the floor, doesn't do much of anything well right now.

I like him as a person, but he needs to not play anymore. I'd honestly rather have Jodie Meeks playing over him at this point.

That's going to be brutal, and I don't blame Blake for that. That is all on the coaching staff.

^Exactly right. The coaching staff is suppose to put you in the best possible position to succeed; since the Brown era, we've seen Steve struggle to guard opposing SG's; and what happens, they continue to put him on guys, and he continues to get torched. Harden will go for at least 25 tonight...

Blake will get torched whether he's playing PG or SG.

^True. If it were up to me, I wouldn't play as much as MDA is right now; I'd settle for 10-15 minutes of Blake, and that's it...nevertheless, consider it's the Rockets tonight, you can probably put him on their starting PG, and at least it won't be as bad as him guarding Harden...

DOn't forget...this is Antoni....spacing is more important than defense.

Antoni likes to space the floor on offense AND defense. :man12:

spacing :man10: that's the huge 20 pts we spot home teams when we're on the road.

At least he stands a chance at PG, where he doesn't give up 4 inches to every opponent.

:man10: This is so sad! Not your post, LJ; just the fact that we're discussing what should be a third string PG on most rosters, and it seems he's getting more playing time than others who have more potential to be successful on our roster and give us a chance to win games...this is crazy. It's one of those things, 'if you don't laugh, you would cry.'

after 3 years thus far, same constant complaints of his game with the occasional stretches where he actually looks like a real nba player. Dont hate the guy I hate the player he is and I'm glad this is his last year.

this situation is getting more and more embarassing, he can't play and seams to be still on the floor when I'm watching the games :bang: . It's gonna be a happy day when he'll leaves our team.

^ Had the same feeling for Brian Cook, Vladimir Radmonovic, Luke Walton...etc.

Mitch wave your wand and turn him into a draft pick!

that would be nice but we'd be lucky if we're not the one giving up more to dump him, i.e. giving a pick to NJ to dump an expiring Sasha.

Well, let's be completely honest here: Luke was a useful player who worked well for Phil. But he was overpaid and Mitch made a mistake there.

Vlad was a good player, who was one of the best 3-pt shooters on any Laker team. But he did not fit well in Phil's system.

OK, Cook was never good.

If Blake guards Harden tonight I just feel sorry for him. If the coach is gonna mess with the starters, the biggest change should be Johnson or Williams or somebody bigger on Harden.
