Props to Blake..... Doing the way I have been saying ....
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I've been saying this as well. He has to put up more shots, he passes up too many opportunities.

At the very least the police are getting involved with those threats. Here's to hoping they find those responsible.

Hopefully they do catch whoever they were and give them more than a slap on the wrist. Come down harsh on these fools, if they catch them, and maybe people will realize it might not be the best idea to say those things.

needs to remain confident in his shot and aggressive. that running off the glass layup was a very good move, showing he can get into the lane sometimes but chooses not to EVER.

if he wants to remain on this team, in game 5 he has to stay aggressive the whole game, attack when he can, otherwise shoot the wide open shots he's given after feeding the bigs and they pass back out to him.

I've defended him here plenty as a backup PG. But he's got to go. Brown's love affair with him sealed our fate in the fourth quarter of game 4, and that was basically the end of our season. It's clear that you can't have him here or Mike Brown will continue to play him over Sessions when it matters, and he will continue the absurd and horrible 2 point guard lineup no matter who we have as a our back up 2 on the bench. He needs to be taken away from Brown at all costs.

So true.

Brown did the same thing with Eric Snow in Cleveland. Played him way more minutes than he should have. Brown seems to be dead set on having a veteran PG be his man crush, more often time then not, it's a detriment to the team.

Now if we had a veteran PG like Nash or Andre Miller that bring it consistently every night, this wouldn't be a problem. With Blake it is.

Agreed. And if we have a guy like one of those two, it would be great to bring Sessions off the bench for scoring punch and high energy as so many have been calling for here. I like Sessions as a lead PG, but considering Brown's lack of trust in him and insistence on slowing him down and never utilizing his gifts (P an R anyone?), he might as well come off the bench. He isn't being used correctly.

I hate Brown as coach.

^ thats a good point. We need to go after Miller. Im not sure if Sessions and Bynum are a great fit, Andre would be the perfect buffer for both of them until Sessions/Bynum can figure out how to play together.

Blake's issues are somewhat centered on who he is playing with.... I think he would do much better if we had a dynamic scorer off the bench to play along side of him. He's a decent guard..... Laker fans of recent years overvalue guards because we have had little to compare them to.... While I agree that he isn't the best option.... I'd put him a little further down the list of players that need to be replaced. I wouldn't dump him to keep Morris or Ebanks for example..... he offers more value than either of those two.

If indeed Pau is gone.... maybe we can attach him to Pau and get a SF and a guard in return.... along with the TPE.....

Blake and Sess are both solid options for back-up PGs but they are not starters.

I'm not a Brown fan either, but you can't fault Brown for keeping Blake in to end the game....Sess played 32 minutes compared to Blake's 24 mins and their primary counterpart went 15/26 on them. At the very least Blake played the Sasha card and was clearly frustrating Westbrook which even led to that key steal at the end of the game. With Sess in the game, defensively he's a ghost and on offense, he would just hand it off to Kobe at the end of the game.

None of them should be our starting PG next year. We have to go get a 2 way PG this summer. I like Nash, but would prefer Dre Miller cause at least he can D up. But free agency is plan B. Plan A has to be to find our future PG with Pau. If you can't, then like Roo said, find a starting 3 and maybe 4 with Pau and go for Dre with the mini-MLE.

^ i think Id keep Sessions and Andre Miller. Miller is a hungry veteran and he probably has 1 or 2 more years left, Sessions can learn from him and get better. Neither are great 3 point shooters but Andre can teach him out to be effective despite not having a 3 ball

I've been harping on this plan for the last two days.

We need to get a legit bench scorer and a suitable replacement for the PF who can stretch the floor. The PG we can address with the mini-MLE.

Nash, Miller and Delonte West can all be had for that IMO. The first two because they are hungry veterans who want a title (Miller has come out and said this, Nash has all but said it) and Delonte will never get a good deal because of past problems, but the guy can ball and is not afraid to hit big shots.

Dre miller won't come for the mini MLE , apparently he wants to stay in Denver if he gets paid http://www.hoopsworld.com/andre-miller-to-stay-in-denver

Nash hates us , he will never come here

I would prefer Sessions coming of the bench as a backup as opposed to Blake. I'm indifferent to Blake. I can see him stay or go.

I'd rather package him with Pau and see if we can get a better starter/backup. He's a good player when he tries, but he's been very inconsistent for us.

Very inconsistent! That's been my gripe. The fact that we could have pulled 2 games out of OKC as him as our backup PG is a miracle to me. However, you're right. We can package him with Pau. Maybe add another piece and get some pieces to round out this roster with more balance. Ideally, I would like to make another attempt and try to get Beasley. Beasley ans Sessions coming off our bench and we get a lot better.
