I think his conditioning will be fine, its getting the game speed and timing back that will take a few games.

but the question is will dantoni give blake duhon's minutes or meeks'? hopefully duhon's as i think blake and meeks will work well together

Duhon hasn't been great but anyone who expects or thinks Blake is gona be better might be sadly surprised. While Duhon isn't a great defender Blake is only marginally better and Duhon actually knows how to get into the paint and create, something I hardly ever see out of Blake. Only good thing out of Blake is better spot up shooting and thats only if he isn't hesitating on his shot.

Backup 2 should just have a seat with Meeks' name on it.

It's about time we trade or waive Morris and trade away Duhon. Those guys are basically useless, and I'd trade Duhon along with Ebanks for a bag a chips at this point.

I'm not excited about Blake's return. Although, he might be an upgrade over Duhon which is just incredibly sad. Man, we need a capable backup PG...

Not excited at all. I have seen 2.5 years of Blake getting exposed on the floor.

He is the same as Duhon, useless. But Duhon is a solid 3 point shooter which Blake is not. He is just not when you go by the numbers as a Laker.

Let's not forget his bright moments though, he hit some Important 3's last year when the Lakers were in close games, and I have yet to see Duhon step up in a pressured game 7 like Blake did when he hit 6-7 3's against the Nuggets.

Blake should get few minutes, and he should definitely play the 1, where he is actually semi-useful. Yes, we need a new backup soon. Someone young to split the minutes with Nash.

I would not mind getting Avery Bradley, kinda reminds me off a Blodsoe clone both are athletic defenders.

There's no way we're getting Bradley from the Cs. They honestly think he can become their franchise player.

That is absurd, Bradley is a rotational player, he gives the Celtics quality defensive minutes and gets good steals but to call him a franchise player is like calling Deandre Jordan a franchise player and DJ and Bradley are basically the same kind of player with different height.

no part of me ever liked the Blake signing, but he was at some point a very good back up PG. MDA has said how much he's liked and tried to acquire him. Until I see him play, I won't say I'm dissapointed because bottom line is that he's better than Duhon and Morris. Ideally, Bradley or Bledsoe would be our backup but Blake is IMO going to make a bigger impact than Duhon.

Exactly, but they're so high on him that it will be very difficult to obtain him.
