Those are good numbers for a backup PG. If we actually had a starting PG in front of him, we'd be in good shape.

Neither of them shot well, but Id personally take his stat line tonight over the Beard.

if blake hadn't stepped up these past 2 games, we could very well be on the outside looking in. thank goodness for the blake mamba.

Wow. It was so easy to write him off the last couple of seasons, but the one thing MDA has done is made Steve Blake relevant again.

I loved what I saw from him today except for the last few possessions. He was a little shaken up on that one play where we didn't get a shot off in time. But overall he was fantastic. If he can keep up this level of play we might be able to find our way past San Antonio.

His decision is questionable at times but you can't say he doesn't play his heart out. Good shooting help as well. :jam2:

Loved his fight today. Yeah, he missed shots, made some bad plays here and there, but he kept coming.

Been waiting for this Steve Blake to show up.

Hope it carries to the playoffs.

Are you kidding me with that stat line, 24-7-7? And he played the entire game? That's as good a game you can ask from Blake, I'm impressed to say the least, showed a lot of fight and heart.

Blake has really stepped up in these past two games and has been the closest thing to a perimeter threat we have (and that's sad).

MDA did him a lot of good. 24-7-7 from our backup PG. Epic. Now we just need Nash back. :jam2: :jam2:

Can't believe i'm saying this, but he's our go to guy on perimeter now.

This is the guy who used to kill us as a Nugget & Blazer.
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

Blake has been showing poise, and been really stepping up lately. He is starting to remind me of the Portland Steve Blake. Hitting shots and throwing crisp passes to players for open shots. He seems more free now unlike earlier in the season, or the last few years. He may be gone in the summer, but what he is doing now is solid. Good replacement for Nash atm, and decent filler to a trade this summer to fetch us something solid for next year.

Normally, half of those shots would go to Nash.

Steve has been exceptional these past two games...

The Lakers have been a Much better team pretty much from the day he came back from injury... He hasn't been putting up these types of numbers, but that wasn't his role... He solidified our bench & has been a rock ever since he stepped back on the floor.... Love it, keep it up Stevie
