Steve Blake Discussion: Out Indefinitely (p. 102)

Roll out the carpet for this guy, he is going to make our point guard rotation and our lineup in general sooo much better.

Its been so long since we've had a legit point guard. So dearly long.

You guys see what he's doing out there? Accurate passing? Controlled dribble-driving? What are these new and frightening things???

Was about to mention that and yeah he looked great out there. 18pts/6 assists, created for others, didn't press the issue, hit open shots.

Didn't really get to watch the game but damn 18 points and 7 assists on 8/10?? I love this guy.

Dammit, the one preseason game I miss we win in a blowout and Steve Blake tears it up and shoots 8 for 10. So glad we got this guy, I think this thread is going to be used a lot this year.

I love the fact that I'm not worried that he's going to take a stupid shot or randomly turn it over.

My only concern is whether he has the ability to create for himself and finish in the lane like Farmar could.

I think I will be using this thread a lot this year. Glad to hear that Blake had a great game.

It's exciting watchin this guy run the triangle so well already. His basketball IQ is through the roof.

The fact that we now have a high IQ pass-first pg that can knock down shots and has great handles. We all love Fisher, but Blake is proving to be incredibly nice to have. Stop trying to crash the party.

Yeah Steve Blake sucks... he missed two shots tonight. If he was any good he would have made them all.

There's dozens of threads every season that are have no point, no purpose, and contribute almost nothing to the site.

This man put up fantastic numbers today, the coaching staff is raving about him, and he's proven himself already to be a more capable leader off the bench than Farmar ever could.

Considering the biggest thread I can ever remember being in the Lakers Discussion area was the Ron Artest thread that was 500 pages before he even became a Laker, I say this thread is perfect.
