It's going to be like that awesome, fun stretch of about 6 games or so while Kobe was out a couple years ago when the whole team had the Tri just cooking.....constant ball movement, cuts, hitting their shots. We beat some good teams while Kobe was out. That was really fun to watch. It's what Steve Nash gives a team night in and night out....once the system is established for the players we have to be best utilized and they get familiar with it, he and Kobe will have that humming most every game.

I know exactly how that'll happen too. . . Every game will be a blowout for us, so the starters will be out of the game by the end of the 3rd. The benches for both teams come out, except LeBron asks to be left in the game to pad his stats, and since the 4th no longer has any pressure, he actually performs.

Chronologically, yeah, Nash is one of the oldest players in the league. But we're not concerned that he's got two or three good years left in him. He's figured out how to maintain his health with years of experience. He's gotten cuts and bruises and sprains, and he's always had the little back thing that has bothered him, but he's figured out a way to have his maintenance get him through the season. And then I think most of all is the energy. He'll feel rejuvenated. The last year or two it probably got tough for him to get through the season. Just the load he had to carry, and maybe feeling like they didn't have a chance to contend -- although they could probably make the playoffs, which is motivation for a lot of people. But having a chance to win a championship, mentally he'll be fresh and that will make a difference. SI.com

Basketball-Reference.com's Play Index reveals that he has the third best shooting percentage in NBA history with at least 1,000 three-point shots made. It's not hyperbole to say Nash is one of the greatest shooters in league history.

Never seen this before but thought it was hilarious. We all know Nash is a good actor, and it even shows on the court:

"Why are they blocking out all the good stuff? They let Sarah Jessica Parker's face on TV and she looks like a foot!!"

Hardwood Paroxysm ‏@HPbasketball
The Lakers now employ the player who fouled the player in the act of shooting the least, min 100 poss ISO defense. Guess.

one thing i can say is our guys better be ALWAYS looking for his passes bc if theyre not ready for them at any time than theyre gunna look stupid. im sure we'll see pau with his fair share of fumbled passes.

guys better be looking for the crazy passes he does otherwise theyll just sail right outta bounds.

All that should be worked out by training camp and the pre-season. It's pretty easy playing with guys that always look to pass the ball. Playing with Kobe is one thing, it's easy not to expect the ball, but playing with Nash is a different story.

Guys will not only be ready they'll be expecting it. When he takes the shot himself it will be a surprise.
