I would imagine Kobe taking 32 shots wasn't in the script.

Yup. That's Nash's way of calling out Kobe. No doubt about it.

When I listened to that interview, it sounded like he was calling out other aspects of Kobe's game too. I can't say for sure though since I didn't see today's game.

This is an overreaction and not totally representative of how I actual feel ... but I wouldn't be against trading Nash back to Phoenix for our first round picks.

Everyone's done it this year. Dwight, Gasol, Nash. They can't figure out who to point the blame to, because they think they're a lot better. No one can accept the reality that this loaded team on paper flat out sucks.

well yes...I never liked Nash and his game so I wasnt so thrilled when he come to our team....its just my personal opinion, I dont like him,I just dont like players who cant play D .... maybe 5-6 years ago he was productive but now, he make TO ,cant score, and he is one of the worst PG defensive players in the league....its simple as that

Understatement. I thought FIsh was bad and I knew Nash will be bad.....but damn, not THIS bad. No doubt Nash is the WORST backcourt defender in the league. It's not even close.

Nash has the triple whammy for defenders:

1. Short.
2. Slow.
3. Old.

Meh. This team's collectively bad on that end. He's not worse than Steve Blake on D, and his O is a big upgrade. He's still a very good PG.

I don't mind trading him. I am in favor of blowing this team and rebuilding around D12 at the moment.

You don't pick up a PG like Steve Nash because you care about his defense. He's not doing anything different defensively this year than in the past, I don't know why you guys are bringing it up like it matters much at all.

can't wait for Blake to come back and back up Nash. play better d and o than Duhon and Blake combined and then maybe that'll help get Meeks some mins

Said many time before, Nash is very weak in defense, especially he is 40 now. What we need is his offensive creation. If we don't need that, please bench him. I blame this loss to MDA. When he sees a guy shooting out of mind, he should bench Nash and put in a better defender.

Nash is 38. Will be 39 soon. He's not 40 years old.

I would feel bad for him for this debacle but he's one of the main culprits for our failures.

Hilarious how everyone here just starts blindly picking people associated with this team to attack because they don't know who to blame

blindly? really? his D is atrocious so Kobe has to cover the opposing pg sometimes, his O is avg. at best at times and whatever it is that he's doing out there to make the offense easier for everyone isn't there on a consistent basis. I dont see him doing anything to make life easier for Kobe, just kills clock and ends up passing to kobe for a bail out anyways. Yes he makes life easier for the PnR guys but Kobe aint no PnR 3pt chucker in the mold of bell, barbosa, etc. like Nash is accustomed to in Pho.

Kobe is guarding the opposing team's ball handler because HIS off ball D is that weak. Kobe's D seemed to have visible impact for like 2 games, and then his offense faded, and the opposing team started scoring at well. Nash's D isn't worse than Blake's, and our team isn't in a better situation by allowing Kobe to guard the opposing team's ball handler. Realize that our D was just as bad when Nash was out with injury. The D doesn't suffer big time with him on the floor. We are terrible on defense, period.

It's obvious this roster is not a good fit for Nash ... no spacing and he's often dribbling in no man's land , putting himself in tough situations

I know he hasn't played many games but he has zero chemistry with the players on this roster

And this is where the Nash criticism comes from for me. Nash can't play big minutes so we can't start 4th quarters with Kobe resting and Nash with the second unit. Nash can't defend any pg, as Hinrich is a 30% shooter, yet he bent him over and banged him out like Lawson/Parker/etc. And now Nash can't score or penetrate off the dribble at all without a pick so there is no making a defense react, then swinging it back to Kobe so he has that extra space to drive; in fact Metta has a better chance going one on one off the dribble than Nash. Team is flawed and isn't just Pau, its Nash as well who hasn't provided nothing but extra burdens and more dead negatives than positives.

Hinrich is 9-11, 22 points and 7 dimes. Scrubs kill Nash. Trade or bench his *** too, not just Pau.

He deserves this because he really did take it up the [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] better than any pornstar this year from a scrub who has sucked all year, and also got locked down on the other end by him one on one
