Hope Nash gets healthy soon. But i think Duhon can hold the fort until he returns.

Ideally, you don't want a 38 year old Nash going 40+ a night. So this is where we can see how the offense will be run without the conductor. He really can silence the critics if he shows that his offense is not so one-dimensional. Of course there is the other side of the ball and if McMillan comes aboard, I would like to see he too prove that his previous numbers were more based on lack of personnel rather than defensive philosophy.

If he wants to return at the start of December so be it. I dont mind grooming Morris/DJO in the process until he returns, doesn't hurt to develop depth. I think we'll still win games in the meantime

Without Phoenix' miracle working medical staff, we're going to be seriously hard pressed to keep him healthy.

That's just my feeling. Look at Grant Hill, the moment he leaves PHX, he starts to break down. For that reason, it's good we didn't get him.

Seriously though, I haven't given up on Antawn. Hopefully Mike D uses him properly in his system: As a stretch-4. I think he's playing out of position as a SF personally.

The 2nd unit should be Blake/Duhon, Meeks, Ebanks, Jamison & Hill (obviously not necessarily all at the same time). That unit can stretch the floor and has enough athleticism to be pesky on the boards and get some easy buckets in transition. Our starters are plenty big/long enough to play a slower pace/dominate the glass type of game. Our 2nd unit doesn't score enough in the half court offense to play that way. They should play more of a "7 seconds or less" style in my opinion. Lord knows we have the right coach for it.

I agree, there is no rush. I rather nash comes back 100% than him coming back at 90% and might re-injure himself. This is a long season, we need everyone at 100%. With Nash out, we have a few PG that can benefit from the extra playing time.

I agree with this completely. A fractured leg bone is not something our soon to be 39 year old PG should rush back from. An added benefit is our other PG's will get more time/opportunity to learn 'Antoni's system, maybe we can see what Duhon has to offer, maybe it will make the offense a little less dependent on Nash at least at the start.
