Ideally, you don't want a 38 year old Nash going 40+ a night. So this is where we can see how the offense will be run without the conductor. Lets see how he can manipulate his offense to this personnel. I never liked that an offense relies so heavily on one component...but when you don't even have youth and athleticism then the cracks begin to show.
He really can silence the critics if he shows that his offense is not so one-dimensional. Of course there is the other side of the ball and if McMillan comes aboard, I would like to see he too prove that his previous numbers were more based on lack of personnel rather than defensive philosophy.

I agree, there is no rush. I rather nash comes back 100% than him coming back at 90% and might re-injure himself. This is a long season, we need everyone at 100%. With Nash out, we have a few PG that can benefit from the extra playing time.
