At times I forget he's even on the team and I continue to have expectations of this team as if they were fully healthy. Which goes to show how talented we are, that we can not have one of the best PGs in the game and yet still be a contender.

I really am forgetting how good he can be. That stint in Brown's offense has tainted by memories. Hope he really can help Gasol, Howard, Kobe and metta get better looks.

But his D will be like watching fisher again...

Very encouraging news. I pray his body reacts well tomorrow and we can proceed with more activities to prepare for his return.

sessions is playing well but he's not Steve Nash. he would be great for our bench and it sucks he opted out. imagine our bench with sessions Meeks Ebanks Jamison and Hill. that would be good. but the kid is no way better for us than Nash.

although I do think he's a great player and under dantoni's system would be amazing vs how he was under mike browns which was a dish role and wasted his talent. I wouldn't resign here either knowing mike brown was the coach again with the same game plan for sesh.

We can't just rely on everything being perfect as soon as Nash gets back. As far as I've heard, there is not even a definite time table for his return, is there?

As I stated in the WMC thread, and in this thread, it's important to understand, he won't fix everything that's wrong with this team. However, case in point tonight, in the last 2-3 minutes of a basketball game, Steve can be relied upon to create, distribute, and make the correct basketball decisions. He's also a 90% percent freethrow shooter.

This is critical. Kobe is 34 and will wear down by January continuing to play these minutes exerting himself on both ends of the floor at such a high level. Will everything be fixed when he comes back? Nope. We need more shooters & athletiscism in thos offense; but with Nash, we have a much higher probability to win games such as we witnessed tonight...

Steve Nash will not play Fri or Sun, says he'll be sidelined "about another week." Still can't do serious running, he says. #Lakers

"About another week." Well, he just started running the other day, so that makes sense. I think Steve comes back in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can salvage these next two games and he can come back by the middle of December.

Sessions comming from the bench would be something! WAY better than SB.
At this point, I´m hoping that Steve Nash still comes back this year. :/

Not a surprised as they've been saying "one more week" for the past month or so. If he's out for more than two more weeks I'd be surprised, as he seems to be making some decent progress.
