I heard somewhere else that the training staff was having Nash do weighted calf raises on a broken bone.

WTF??

These morons screwed up Malone's knee, messed up with Drew's knee as well, and it's well known that Kobe does his own thing with his knees too.

I love how the Lakers are so blatantly dishonest about injury news too. :bang:

to be honest i expected this from the start...nash is one old old man and you cant expect to be different then it is....he will probably miss a lot of games this season and we need good replecement for him right now...

Since when is our medical staff the worst (or bad for that matter)?
All this time I've heard nothing but praise from players/coaches/reporters about Vitti & Co. Maybe I'm missing something?

well to be fair, the techs don't read the films. the radiologist might have reported something to vitti erroneously, but vitti should also look at the films himself. fractures should be hard to miss so i'm not sure what went wrong

I'm not in the locker room, it's hard for me to predict what happened. But to claim our training staff is one of the worst in the league is frankly insulting.

I suppose it's easy to forget that just in this last month we saw two men come back from a herniated disc ahead of schedule. We've seen Kobe avoid major injuries and play through injuries for years. We've seen Pau Gasol and Derek Fisher miss hardly any time due to our staff. We've seen the pioneer of open wound treatment on the court in Vitti.

One of the worst? That's absolutely false.

I frankly don't care if any of them can properly put a band-aid on. That's something a moron should be able to do after a day of training (no offense to Vitti).
But if the report is true - this the second freaking time an injury was misdiagnosed - something that could have been easily avoided.

Last time that cost us a title.

What will it cost us this time?
