If the Hornets don't match that offer then that CP3 trade was that was blocked for us feels even worse. The Clippers would have given up just Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and a first-rounder. Sounds like Gordon wants to be in Phx unless Architect Stearn has constructed a different path for this poor Kid that only he knows about.

Yeah, I made the post about Steve Nash ages ago on another thread. And I stand by what I posted. Nash IS the best PG that the Lakers can realistically get. And we need to do whatever we can to get him to LA.

How is $9m starting more than Toronto? That offer is three years, $36m.

I think Hornets said they were going to match it. Seems like a no-brainer.

Can't believe anyone is offering Nash $12m/year for *3* years at his age. Sure Nash has kept himself in great shape but he's a 38 year old PG no matter how you cut it. If he was all about the money, he should have grabbed it from Toronto and ran with it. If I'm Mitch, I don't want to commit more than 2 years to him.

Hornets have said they'll match any offer for Gordon. But Gordon is practically begging them not to do so. So Gordon joining PHX may hinder the Suns' ability to S&T Nash because they might have to take someone back to make that work and they might not want to do that.

what's sad is that sessions is more than capable of this. Obviously he s not Nash by a mile, but he has the tools. I think kobe emotionally neutered him.
