On a serious note, Steve Nash is amazing, seeing him on the floor is so awesome. His passing and his play off the pick n roll is incredible, not to mention the shots he made for us. Definitely good to have our PG back, the game just looks so much different when he's on the court. :jam2:

you could tell dwight wasnt used to getting nash's passes on pnr. i think it'll be good to get the pnr going a little closer so when dwight catches it has not so far from the hoop that he has to pass bc he cant dunk or lay it up from there. i feel after more playing time they'll get on the same page. nash and hill though was almost seemless...he was making some great passes and hill was finishing at the rim or midrange.

Dantoni better keep giving hill minutes. his energy on the boards was unreal. 6 offensive boards i think. and 6-9 from the field off a lot of nash passes.

Yea, Dwight's not quite used to Nash yet. The same thing happened with Gortat when he first played with Nash. He fumbled a lot of passes and missed a lot of easy buckets.

But Nash was awesome. Good things happened when the ball was in his hands.

Actually I don't mind Dwight getting the ball a little bit further away from the basket on the pick and roll because if the help doesn't come from Kobe or Metta's defender, that's an easy layup or dunk for Dwight...anybody notice that Dwight had 6 assists tongiht? That was because of those pick and rolls. Either Kobe or Metta/Meeks will be wide open every time on those screen and rolls. That's why NASH is literally the key to this whole thing working because he will make the decision on who to pass the ball to. I have never seen the Lakers get so many wide open looks off pick and roll. Reminds me of OUR DEFENSE on pick and rolls except we were doing it right back to the other team and it was beautiful to watch because you literally couldn't stop it....

CLUTCH. I just feel much more confident about any possession when it starts with the ball in his hands.

He hasn't missed a beat! He kept calling himself out of shape, comes back, plays 40 minutes, and does just GREAT. Shot efficiently, made the big ones, made plays for everyone. Ahh, total man crush :man10:

Nash dished 9 assists, hit 63% of his shots (both of his triples), and hit one or two clutch buckets. In his first game back from a fractured leg. I'd say that's pretty good.

Nash rules. So great to see him in action last night. Everything is so much easier with him on the team.

When was the last time you seen Kobe was this open in such of tight game or any game? Check out the 2:27 in the overtime. It happened again later in the overtime but Kobe missed the shot. Nash and Howard got so much attention that the Warriors forgot about Kobe. :jam2:

Seriously, and this is not a knock on Kobe either, but Steve Nash is the only guy who can "fix" this team and take it to the next level. Nash will get everyone involved, which will create better ball movement and effort.

Nash still had 9 assists on a night where:
1. Kobe had 41 fgas a lot of which were ISOs.
2. Gasol played soft and was hacked with a lot of no-calls.
3. Howard was completely taken out of the game by the refs and not given any calls on the offensive end.
4. Jamison didn't play. I think he'll benefit a lot from Nash.

loved what nash was doing by getting them into their sets. he may not have gotten the assist but he was the reason they scored and organized everything.

dantoni set up a great play multiple times to get mwp wide open for 3. and im glad kobe actually did it instead of iso everytime. there was a good mix of team ball with nash running it and kobe iso in the end of the 4th and OT.

glad nash is back bc hes the only player who kobe would let run the show like he did at the end of the game when it was on the line. and he delivered in the clutch with that huge 3 and assists and one legged fade away. i want like 2 more shots a game though. 10 should be perfect for him bc hed make most of them from inside the arc and outside with this team surrounding him and if not go to the line which he'll drill those at 90%+

^^ +1 on everything here. I would love to see him take a couple more shots a game as well. The guy is money.

That's another thing that hasn't been discussed much, how awesome is it that we have another guy now to hit clutch shots down the stretch - which he did. I still can't believe he's a Laker.
