Lakers really liked Chris Douglas-Roberts last season. If they're not looking to spend much more, wouldn't be shocked if he made the team.

I really am excited to watch him during the Summer League and in our first game tonight at 5pm on TWC or NBATV if you have that as well.

I'm sorry, but I hope he stinks it up. I need me some Machine on the team. Even he made the team, MDA probably will hardly play him since he has no special talent on offense. Whereas I could see him giving the Machine plenty of minutes and be his little Goran Dragic :man12:

CDR looks almost... thin to me, is it just me? He looks smaller, maybe it's partly the high hair and awful t-shirt uninforms? :man10: He's playing just fine though, just scored.

I noticed this too.

Also, Kerr doesn't know what the hell he's talking about when he says Kobe won't be back till the New Year :disagree: :man10:

Kerr and Reggie haven't shut up, and they aren't even calling the game. :man10: Just talking to talk, Kerr is annoying IMO and the sound quality is awful for some reason, sounds like AM radio.

yes it does, which is why I am watching the game on my phone. The sound quality is a lot better.

I dunno, I think they're more entertaining than last seasons summer league team, or at least not any worse. I think #4 Lester Hudson looked under control at PG, CDR got to the rim a few times, and Sacre has looked good.

Can he shoot from the perimeter? That's what will get him playing time.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Well, doesn't look good for CDR after one game if you ask me. He looka out of shape, almost tired, had no real impact, and he seemed to twist his ankle and limp through half the game. If he's hurt, or keeps playing like this we won't keep him, he doesn't look like the same player from last season. If he turns it around from here maybe he gets a camp invite, but I don't know, disappointed.

Pretty inauspicious start for him. I think he got injured (didn't watch the whole game), but he didn't seem engaged at all.

I think he knows he's getting an invite so he's not pushing himself. I don't like it.

He's got a lot of work to do if he wants to make the team and he does get an invite to camp. Even before he got hurt he wasn't looking very invested in the game. He was getting to the rim a few times before that at least though, but man I'm still disappointed in what I saw.

Zero. He's got an NBA body and he's fast, but he looked out of control a lot.

I'm not happy with CDR, but I'm pretty okay with Selby. I liked his reactions and I liked the way he had a feel for the game. You're right, he was out of control a lot, but he used his athleticism well and he had good instincts.

CDR just looked like he didn't want to play much.

If anything I like Selby's size, speed, and defensive potential. On offense he looked out of control, on defense he was more impressive. Can't see him making the team or anything but I guess in cost cutting season you never know.

Well if we accepted Morris for his defense and kept him despite his offense....

Selby can't be any worse right? I agree he was out of control on offense most of the time, but it seemed to me that he still had a recognition of what was going on, he just tried to force things anyway. I don't know. I at least value that athleticism for a team that's got Nash, Kobe, Gasol, and Kaman on it. :man10:
