he was much bigger back in memphis

i didn't even recognize him last night until the announcers pointed him out

i remember too much of this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX4rgFnuM5w and i don't feel like he'll ever get back to that level

Are his handles and J any good or he's just the prototypical loved "young and athletic" player around CL. Blake at least knows what the hell he's doing. Is Selby any better than Morris? Just asking. I sat and watched the game today on replay to see how the two fan faves of him and CDR looked, and didn't see jack really from either of them.

selby was good
i can't attest to how they are now since i stopped watching at half time last night
but if u look up last year's summer league, selby had no problem getting to the rim or drilling a 3

Wowwwww.. CDR was DOMINATING in that game.. That dunk on Love was nasty.. Maybe he's one of those guys like Gerald Green, where we won't see how good he is until he makes the team & gets a chance.. Would be awesome to get the player he was in that video..

CDR really disappointed me last night with his play. Also, I don't know if it was the t-shirts they were wearing but he looked much smaller than I remembered.

Well my two favorites to maybe land a spot on the team have looked extremely pedestrian on the stat sheet through two games. :man10:

I don't know what's up CDR's butt.

Wow, CDR making those of us who saw potential in him and defend him look bad right now, I guess he doesn't really want to make an NBA team. If I can only go off these 2 games I'd have to say Landry and Hudson look like the best players on our summer league roster.

I like his effort to get to the rim on most plays to contest shots on defense (even to take a charge), and his activity on multiple double teams even out on the perimeter that trapped players in bad spots. On offense he looked just ok, mainly he tries to stay active and involved and sets screens for the guards.

Sacre's the anti Clown.... always happy to be hustling his butt out to set semi decent screens and then quickly rolling and putting his hands up for a target. Unlike too-cool-to-P&R-give-me-the-ball-in-the-post-I'm-delusional-thinking-I-have-"game"-there Howard. :disagree:

CDR looks like he lost weight and muscle. He got to the line a lot that game...but barely. Not impressed and doubt he'll make the team. Maybe he'll show us something before its all done

He's on the Bulls summer league team and he's apparently been tearing it up. He was a free agent last season and any team in the NBA could've signed him. He's playing for a job right now.

Maybe the D'Antoni offense isn't for him or his ankle he injured on friday is still bothering him.

Watching Lakers summer league game 3 right now, Joel is calling the game, wish he was still our guy, Joel >>>>>>>>>Billy Mac.

As far as the players, I remain unimpressed with Selby. He has nice handles, but them he gets OC or trapped, and he cannot finish. He has dribbled around his man really flashy and impressively in each of these games now, and he can't finish. He just got to the rim, missed the layup, got it back and tried to go right back up on the other side of the hoop and was rejected. On defense he's been beaten badly by the smaller, quicker guards on the Clippers team I've never heard of.

I think Landry has been the best and most consistent player through 2 games, he reminds me of the SF version of his brother, has a nice shot and hustles. He's not shooting great today, but nobody really is, all this team does is shoot 3's. I can't see him making the team, but I am a little surprised that he hasn't been able to make an NBA team for very long, he seems like he would be a decent end of bench player to me.

CDR has looked better today, but he hasn't made it hard to top himself. Still he has 7 points, 2-3 shooting, and he just drove to the hoop, and gave Sacre a nice little pass at the hoop as he got doubled, slipped it between the defenders just in time.

I've liked Harris' hustle. He moves pretty well for his size.
