The Chris "Travel Dance" Duhon Thread

He's playing simple and fluid B-Ball AND doesn't try to do what he can't do

I wouldn't mind seeing him start if Blake can't play on Tuesday. He plays within himself and knows his role. He's at least a better option than Morris.

And did anyone catch Duhon doing any of his travel dance because there were a few travel calls.

^^ I completely agree.

I like how he can produce in limitaded minutes,when ever he is in he delivers...he can make 3 and he is passing ball realy well,he has pg skills so i would give him chance over morris,who except corner 3 can do much plus his playmaking skills are bad...so far morris is playing better than expected but when playoffs start i would rather have duhon as the 2/3 pg then morris...

I was just checking out his stats and he has a career assist/turnover ratio of about 3. He can definitely take care of the ball.

Watch the hilarity ensue when Phil comes in and makes Duhon the starter.

i'm okay with that if you mean while nash is injured.

Duhon will get pt under D'Antoni. They played in NY, and Duhon can shoot them 3s. Darius probably not too happy... unless he really develops a more potent speed game.

Duhon ran D'Antoni's system in NY so i expect him to get backup PG mins over Morris while Nash is gone and maybe over Blake when Nash is back. I'd be okay with that...from what ive seen he can handle running the bench with Meeks and Jamison.

I have to admit, I only clicked on this thread for it's amazing title

D'Antoni reunited...Blake injured...and Duhon now has his shot to prove his worth.

We'll have the opportunity to see how useful Duhon can be for this team.

Darius Morris will start at point guard for the Lakers on Tuesday against the Spurs.
The 41st pick in the draft will get his first career start as the Lakers are unbelievably thin at point guard. He has 1.0 3-pointers and 0.4 steals per game in just 17.4 minutes, so owners in daily leagues could do worse.

oh well, significant backup minutes for duhon at least

I'm okay with that. Morris doesn't really need to do much with starters except hit that corner 3. would rather see duhon work with Meeks and Jamison

He is playing really good ... I am glad I was proven right so far ... remember all the bashing against him when we got him in a trade ...

anyway the guy has really nice shot ... good technique ... hopefully Mike will play him a lot

Better to hide Morris with the starters than expose him with the bench.

We are gonna get murdered tonight btw....bad feeling about this game.

So far I've liked Duhon's play but tonight is going to be a tough situation. New head coach who has been announced but hasn't arrived yet, Bernie is now officially a lame duck, plus the Spurs. Ouch. Hopefully he'll continue to bring something to the table. I do think he might get some burn with D' Antoni, or I hope that he will. I like him better than Blake.

Maybe the guys go out and fight hard for Coach Bernie's last hurrah? I'd love for Coach Bernie for end his Laker coaching career with a 1.000 win pct.

He's not afraid to shoot the open shot, that's for sure. The one flub was when he had the open shot and decided to surprise pass it into Dwight for the turnover. Dwight shouldn't have been asleep, but the better play was to just take the wide open shot there.

His defense on Parker wasn't so hot and I thought Morris was much more disruptive.

Good job from him overall though. I agree that he might be better than Blake...we haven't seen enough of him to tell for sure though.
