I would rank the top 5 (so far) in this order:

2. Kobe Bryant (projected)
#2. Wilt Chamberlain
#3. Bill Russell (11 rings)
#4. Shaquille O'neal

I'd put Shaq up there higher in the list...

The reason: The league has changed the rules and regulations so many times to attempt and stop the dominance of Shaq daddy... And look at him now... He's just finding ways to still overpower his defenders in the post. Players back then had it much easier than Shaq has it now...

i think it's really hard to compare players and make a list, because the competition each year is different. because of that stats can be misleading... i personally think shaq should be higher than bill russell. if kobe keeps working hard on his game like he's doing, he should be better than MJ by the time he retires.

Yeap... Cuz Russell played in a season that didn't even have 82 games, and 3 rounds leading to the NBA finals...

oh yeah that's right the seasons were shorter back then... i think shaq has too much physical presence anyway. I've never seen a 300-plus pound guy run the floor and move like he does.

And it sucks cuz they always keep trying to take his presence away! Just let the man play the game!! It's not his fault he's that tall, and powerful, and he hammers smaller centers away! He's still gonna continue to do his thang, and be considered one of the best centers of all time... Too much has been done to attempt to stop his game, and it just continues to add fuel to his pilot!! U go SHAQ!
