when these pathetic idiots learn that right when u count out the lakers, they come back and mess everyone up.

the lakers have two things no one has, kobe and shaq

u put the best 2 players to ever play the game together and u got a dynasty....

oh ya, and sacfagmento, just because we've OWNED u ur entire existance, doesnt mean u still gotta cry to us, thats what u got ur fat hick moms to do.

we've OWNED sacCRAPmento ESPECIALLY the last 3 years, ABSOLUTELY OWNED.

Guest, I can't believe you said the 2 best players ever. Now, I'm Purple and Gold thru and thru, but 2 best ever ? C'mon, what about Elgin, West, Wilt, Goodrich, Kareem, Magic, Worthy ?

4peats sake this 4peat is getting good!

I would rank the top 5 (so far) in this order:

#1. Michael Jordan
2. Kobe Bryant (projected)
#2. Wilt Chamberlain
#3. Bill Russell (11 rings)
#4. Shaquille O'neal
#5. Kareem Abdul Jabbar

I'd put Shaq up there higher in the list...

The reason: The league has changed the rules and regulations so many times to attempt and stop the dominance of Shaq daddy... And look at him now... He's just finding ways to still overpower his defenders in the post. Players back then had it much easier than Shaq has it now...

i think it's really hard to compare players and make a list, because the competition each year is different. because of that stats can be misleading... i personally think shaq should be higher than bill russell. if kobe keeps working hard on his game like he's doing, he should be better than MJ by the time he retires.

Yeap... Cuz Russell played in a season that didn't even have 82 games, and 3 rounds leading to the NBA finals...

oh yeah that's right the seasons were shorter back then... i think shaq has too much physical presence anyway. I've never seen a 300-plus pound guy run the floor and move like he does.

And it sucks cuz they always keep trying to take his presence away! Just let the man play the game!! It's not his fault he's that tall, and powerful, and he hammers smaller centers away! He's still gonna continue to do his thang, and be considered one of the best centers of all time... Too much has been done to attempt to stop his game, and it just continues to add fuel to his pilot!! U go SHAQ! :man1:

great game

In this corner:
PG: Magic
SG: West
SF: Worthy
PF: Baylor
C: Wilt, Kareem, or Shaq (I'll let the opposition pick who we start here)

NO TEAM IN HISTORY WOULD BEAT THIS TEAM (and they're all Lakers).

In that corner:
PG: Stockton or Isiah
SG: Jordan
SF: Bird
PF: Malone or Hakeem
C: Russell or Moses Malone

Lakers in 7.

Here is my version of that post. ALL PLAYERS ON BOTH TEAMS ARE IN THEIR PRIMES...

In My corner:
PG: Magic Johnson / Eddie Jones
SG: Jerry West / Nick Van Exel
SF: Kobe Bryant / Byron Scott
PF: Elgin Baylor / James Worthy
C: Shaquille O'neal / Wilt Chamberlain

NO TEAM IN HISTORY WOULD BEAT THIS TEAM (and they're all Lakers).

In the other corner:
PG: Isiah Thomas / John Stockton
SG: Michael Jordan / Dominique Wilkins
SF: Larry Bird / Scottie Pippen
PF: Karl Malone / Charles Barkley
C: Hakeem Olajuwon / David Robinson

That is my all-time matchup vs the ALL Lakers team...
