Interesting tidbit, Miami is currently ranked
27th in defensive efficiency while the Lakers are ranked
9th.
http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/teamstats/_/sort/defensiveEff/order/falseWe all know the Lakeshow had been stinking up the joint with the bad D, but not as bad as MIA. There are only 2 teams in the west ahead of us in that category and that is Memphis and OKC tied at 5th.
Both those teams are also ahead of us in offensive efficiency along with Dallas and the Floppers, though I expect us to get much better in that category once we get our system in place.
http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/teamstats/_/order/trueI know it's still early in the season, but if this keeps up, the Laker's chances at beating Miami should we meet up are very good.

In other words our D is pretty good
even though as some of you may remember Mike Brown saying, we hadn't even run any defensive drills. I fully expect us to keep up this good production even with Mike
coming in to coach the team, everyone won't suddenly forget how to play defense.
