The Optimistic Thread! (TRD's FREEDOM THREAD!)

Re: The Optimistic Thread! (TRD's FREEDOM THREAD!)

It was nice to see an actual real game of professional basketball from LA for a change. There were still more than a few 'wtf are you kidding me, not this [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] again!" moments but they didn't last and every time things start to slide, the Lakers picked it back up again. Some of it was good three point shooting, but most of it was just good communication, good ball movement, they stayed on their toes all around.

Still don't think it means much going forward, much like most of the team's Losses this season, they've dug themselves into too deep of a hole, but if the games can at least become entertaining again and not completely pitiful displays of amateur caliber play, that'd be great.

More optimism.... good to see Ebanks was the only one to not get in again. Scrub had so many chances over the past couple of years and has done squat consistently with maybe just a couple of exceptions. Kind of back handed optimism. :man1:

Want some more back-handed optimism; he won't be here next year, IMO...

Hopefully the Blazers will lose too. We're #10 now and not so far away from the #8 spot.

If we continue to play with the same energy and style we did tonight we will not only make the playoffs but also possibly make some noise. Its a big if though, but this is proof that this team can win. We didn't even hit FTs and TOs were a big issuue and we still won by a good margin.

Good defense for 3 quarters. We allowed 30 points in the 2nd quarter, but that's to be expected against a very good OKC team. Our ball movement was very good except for a small lull in the 3rd quarter.

If we keep playing like this, we will make the playoffs, and probably have a good chance of moving up a few spots too.

OKC has been a nightmare for his team to beat, it's good they finally broke through that barrier.

we beat the thunder, and looked good doing it. things we saw in the jazz game carried over into this game and we can be optimistic that it will continue to improve going forward

6 players in double figures. Man what a game. This team is looking really good and everyone on the team looks like they want to give it their best now. I'm very confident about the road trip coming up.

Great game to watch. Very entertaining and finally beat OKC!

Held OKC to under 45%. Durant and Westbrook combined for 16-48. Defense anyone? Only thing that kept them in the game were Durants free throws. At least 10 of his made free throws were result of BS calls.
