The Optimistic Thread! (TRD's FREEDOM THREAD!)

another win, keep going

5-1 in the last 6, that alone is reason for optimism. We used to be losing these close games, we never had 18 point leads to blow, now we do at least.

We wouldn't even has lost that Suns game were Dwight not injured. We're looking pretty strong, now. Watch out league.

Again I take a couple facts to heart:

1. We actually build not just leads but big leads.
2. We are finding ways to take the victory instead of giving a win to other teams.
3. we have won 2 straight on the road
4. Teams may believe they can come back on us but that also means they believe that we can't get up on them by a lot too.

We're not playing ideal basketball right now, but I believe it's starting to come together. We've won against 2 bad teams on the road and now it's time to go into Brooklyn and get a signature win on the road.

We're 5-1 in the last 6 and the Nets are 3-3. I like or chances.

Yeah at least we're on the other end of those runs...

I'm optimistic because we're clearly making progress, but we've got to make strides and right now we're just making steps.

Just happy we did not fall into the unstoppable spiral of being 10 games under .500

We are definitely making progress, no question about it. Unfortunately for us, so are the Rockets. They do have few difficult games coming up so... we might be able to get close. One of those games is against Portland. Should be interesting.

At the beginning of the season we went 5-1 to bring us to 6-5

Midway through the season we went 5-1 to bring us to 15-15

Now we've gone 5-1 to bring us to 22-26

Hopefully we don't see a repeat of all those instances, that's a pretty sad level to plateau at. Gotta take 2 of the next 3 to have a successful road trip. Gonna be really difficult

Portland (gain playoff ground with Laker win)

All Star Break

@ Brooklyn

Only 2 of those are guaranteed wins, and the back to back games are on the road against elite teams.

Lakeshow...if there was ever a time to gain some playoff ground...........

That was a fantastic team win against a good team. With no Dwight or MWP (half our defense) every player that stepped on the court needed to step up, and pretty much every single one did. Kobe, Pau, Nash, Clark, Jamison, Blake, Meeks, all contributed, played defense, hit some big shots. Hell even Sacre had a few good minutes. Proud of this team tonight, something I haven't been able to say a lot this season. We blew a lead, but it was only 12 points, we were on the road, we played defense and deserved to win the end so I'm proud of this win.

The played with heart, determination, & effort. Great game considering the circumstances.

Got BOS next. They're on a bit of a hot streak but we'll get them on a back to back. I like our chances against a Rondo-less, tired Celts.

I refuse to accept your optimism Real because you did your best Leftymo impression the other day. I'll accept your optimism after a cooling period.

GREAT win. I applaud the team's effort. Missing key guys, Kobe banged up, Pau going down late in the game, on the road, but our guys gave it all and got the W.

We played some very good D late and made good plays on O to close it out.
We're taking Boston down too

That Kobe dunk was just wow. Those hooks by Nash were just wow. Clark is just wow.

I wish Houston had lost today, but today was a big win regardless. We need that W against BOS, so lets get it!

I am optimistic. But we still need Houston and Portland to lose some.
