Portland hit absolutely every jumpshot they looked at, and somehow LA kept answering. Kobe scored when he had to, Metta made some Ron Artest plays, D12 brought fire for the second game in a row and Nash actually made some memorable passes for scores.

Basically this felt like Portland threw everything they had at LA, hit every shot imaginable, and still got handed the loss.

Bodes well.

Yes. Our offense looks fine now. But defense still needs to work, especially in 3q and final minutes. Hope we can catch up the schedule.

big road win for us. i also enjoyed dwight celebrating on the bench like a fan when kobe did that sweet crossover on mayo to bury a jumper. the team looks like it's coming together, and the results are wins.

A win tomorrow puts us back to .500.

That's the tallest order so far...

A win IN Denver... on the 2nd night of a BACK-TO-BACK... After a TOUGH game in Dallas...

Not hoping for tomorrow.

add in that DEN has only 3 losses at home thus far and Nash needs some rest for his back. But despite all that is against us, this is just another opportunity for us to rise to the challenge and get what would be a tremendous win! :jam2:

LA can do a couple of things with a win tomorrow.

1. Get to 500 finally
2. Win 4 in a row (first time this season I think)
3. Prove we are no longer the weak road team
4. Prove to each other that we can win
5. Put the league on notice that LA is back.

I believe we will make it happen.

Back to back..... a team that has speed and altitude on their side..... and we haven't exactly been decent on the road this year (or anywhere else for that matter).

For some reason I'm optimistic. Must be the vodka......

We might win this one. Especially if Dwight does not get in foul trouble. The energy is good, bench contribution is nice... who knows? I think we can win it.

Hmm. I wasn't sure if we had a winning streak over 3 games (too lazy to check when I posted) but we need to break the seal and go on a real winning streak.

In the last month, only the Spurs (11-2) and Heat (13-2) have better records than the Lakers (11-4). (via @ESPNStatsInfo)

Got to keep Faried off the boards, and Dwight's temper in check. No more flagrants and we should get this.

We haven't been above .500 all season, we NEED this. BELIEVE! :jam2:

Big part of us having to play down 12-15 for what seemed like most of the game (outside of the obvious with it being a back-to-back road game, Denver scoring 325 points in the paint and Dwight racking up 2wks worth of missed FTs in one game) was the way we went cold in the final minute of the first two quarters while giving up atleast 4 or 5 layups and dunks to end those periods.

Outside of those two short letdown stretches, its probably a one possession game for the other 46mins, because Denver couldnt stop us from scoring any more than we could stop them.....well, other than when they sent Dwight to the FT line I guess.

Yeah that game wasn't as bad as it could have been. Even when we went down by 18 and could have folded, we came back and cut it to single digits.

We just ran out of gas. Kobe hinted as much and it was fairly obvious. I'll chalk this one up to a stupid schedule.

On Thursday we need to come out and dominate the Wolves.
