You know I am proud of this team for not quitting tonight. They stuck with it and pulled out this W...now, hopefully we can develop some confidence and start get this W tomorrow in NO.

I would have NEVER thought we can win a @ game without Kobe and with Pau scoring 2 points :jam2:
This win just made my season :man9:.

On the positive side, as down as I've been on Blake, I lobed the team's reaction to his game winner. Hugging in celebration as a group, everyone patting him on the back and head, clearly rooting hard for him, these guys like eachother no question.

Have to hand it to Mitch he did amazing for the options he had available to him. This team has so much potential. The really glaring thing it's missing is exactly what Kobe brings, I can't wait to see what this team can do with him.

We should be 4-2, we gave the game away to spurs! :bang:
But this team has character. I hope when Kobe returns we gonna kick some @$$! :jam2:

We've had big leads in every game but 2 this season.

Getting Kobe back should help the fact that we are losing these big leads. We can never seem to get a bucket during these runs by the other teams, Kobe will certainly help in that department.

^^^^^ yeah our ability to score right now totally depends on being hot from 3 ... no alternative to score when we are cold from downtown (+ the D sucks) so the opponent team will make a run .

This is the season Kobe should live on the low post ... no twin towers anymore/Pau is a non factor/coming back from an injury which is likely to decrease his speed/athleticism

Short term , Caveman should play more too , Gasol less ...

Yes, the camaraderie is much improved. There is no pressure on the crew off lofty expectations. I still would like to see a semblance of ANYONE scoring on the low block. The best candidates are Kaman and Hill. No team can live and die by the perimeter game as this season draws on. D'Antoni tailors his line-ups to the opponent's and most of them have responded so far.

We'll get more of that with Kobe, especially with the assumption that he won't have the same explosive first step as he would like and would probably work in down low using his footwork.

Now that we actually have legitimate SF's, Kobe won't have to play there anymore. And now that we're shooting the ball well, it'll space the floor out even more.

I think we'll see a lot of post picking with Pau/Kaman/Kobe too.

^I like seeing Gasol and Hill setting picks properly. Last season, we had no one for that. Either they were in the trainer's room or they aren't very good at it. Ball movement seems better too.

Wow. A rare glimpse at the bearded Woodpecker not drilling a hole into the court with his constant dribbling in one location for 20 seconds at a time.

Not really too upset at this loss.

It was two teams that were really scrapping and going at each other. I don't mind losing to another team that just had more scrap and star power than us. I mind when it's the refs trying to determine the outcome, which I don't think they did during this game.

Optimistic: 2 straight games we didn't get blown out of the water. 2 straight games where we had a chance to win. 1 for 2 ain't bad for this squad, especially the way some tall Euro is impersonating Pau Gasol all season long.

I like this team...they play gritty. Outside of two blowout losses, we're doing okay. As I keep saying, we'll get better once everybody finds their roles within this offense and the rotation settles in....
