Hey you take that negative (even if it is correct) tone out of here mister :mad1: We got to get healthy at some point..... right?

Yup... In the off season :man10:

Interesting fact for y'all:

Since our 2010 Championship, the team we have lost to in the Playoffs has gone all the way to the NBA Finals. We've been contenders for the last 6 seasons, damnit! :man12:

at least with the swaggy incident and ensuing drama, am710 will have more to talk about instead of 24/7 "gosh the lakers are bad."

It is so bad now that the Lakers are part of Leno's monologue on The Tonight Show. :man10:
Nor can the Lakers get blamed for always making the right decisions over decades. At some point its not just luck or "gamble", its superior management and superior ownership.

I can't lie. Absolutely loving what's going on here. A couple weeks ago people in here were blowing off our chances of getting a top pick since there were like ten teams worse than us. Now look where we're at. We've gained so much ground, with this long road trip giving us so much potential to drop further. We can overtake these teams no problem.

I'm actually rejoicing at losses as if they were wins. In other years this would be a complete disaster. This year is special and we've been lucky to be so unlucky with the way things have turned out. I swear, finishing with the worst or second worst record this year would feel like a championship to me.

Say what you want about D'antoni, but thank goodness we don't have mike brown anymore. That roster in Cleveland could easily have 30 wins at this point in the easy east with another coach. Probably any other coach.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

One of the craziest games I have ever seen in all my years :man10:

Never thought I would see a team, let alone the Lakers has only 5 players left.

Crazy Game and the Nash sighting at the end :man10: Classic!

The Nash sighting was funny as hell. I was like WTF? Can he play?
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

We may not get the best pick and whatever, but I'm sure that in the distant future I'll be happy to say: We had our worst season ever, but we still managed to be better than the Celtics.

^ Yup. Buckle your seatbelts because this is going to be an interesting ride.

Draft. Coach. Free Agency... This summer is going to be very telling for Mitch and Jim and Jeanie. How they handle this will be their doing or undoing.

Very true. They have the chance to start getting things right. This past season was a horror show. But it's behind us now.

Get a new coach, get a good player in the draft, play your cards right in FA. Those are the tests. Let's see how they do.
